I am so excited about Real Comfort! I pre-ordered mine last week. I haven't even thought about what fabric and floss. I just knew I needed that chart. Maybe I should start planning it out. I also want to start Dasher and Dancer by Hobby House Press. I have been working on my fall/Halloween pieces because I was so ready for them. But now that I am, all I want to do is start my Christmas stitching. 😕 the dilemmas of being a multicrafter. Your wips are all beautiful.

Loved seeing your updates and WIPs, as always. I'll have you know that Sir Gourdon is on my wishlist now! As for shows, I was about to recommend Midnight Mass until you said you had watched it. One of my favorite creepy/horror shows ever! If you're into vampires, though, you've GOT to watch What We Do In the Shadows (first watch the movie, then the show). It's a comedy rather than creepy, but is legit one of the funniest things I have ever seen. Happy stitching Jordan! :)

I love your videos because your style is totally different from what I stitch so it's so fun to see your work. It makes me want to stitch different patterns though 😅 & the whole Love on the Run thing happened in a town I used to live in 😂 (weird flex, ok, I know) I had already moved when it happened but it was all everyone was talking about for a while. Lol.

With Ever After, I also love watching Ella Enchanted. It's also a kid's book. We watched Love on the Run at our Craft retreat this weekend. CRAZY. Even more crazy was The Girl in the Picture if you haven't wanted that yet. True Blood--the books are SO much better. It took me several tries to watch the show. Anna Paquin was NOT the Sookie in my head.

Loved this episode! First, I was one of the lucky ones to get Real Comfort at The Attic retreat last year, and while I love stitching with silks, for this one, I can't recommend the overdyed cottons enough! It's perfect as is. Second, have you watched Get Out by Jordan Peele? Ticks all the boxes for creepy, what is going on movie watching in October!

Okay I totally thought when you said we “smoked a rack of ribs” that you were going to say “smoked a raccoon “ and I was horrid for just a second 😂 Your stitches look amazing. I think I need to start Boo to You. And I just finished The Gather Inn yesterday so I deserve a new start right!? I absolutely loved the fill in on Gather Inn. It was therapeutic. I just finished the Hobbit movies last week and I’m ready for my yearly watch of LoTR but I have to wait until Thanksgiving 😩 I have been hesitant to watch Rings of Power because I’ve heard some bad reviews but you’re convincing me to give it a try.

Well done you putting extra pumpkins in. Yes I think you may need to redo the cheeks, they are clearly darker in the photo. I hate it when that happens. Trust me, I am still learning, and I have been doing this for more years than I care to name. Officially I am only admitting to half my real age, or slightly younger. Stitching is a continuous project. Keep stitching and yes, re starts have to happen, you are not being picky. However, practice with the 40 count with a single thread over two, and see if that works better for you. No shoes thrown here. My favourite is 32 count. Sorry if this seemed a tad teach-y, that is not the intent. Please keep stitching I enjoy seeing your work and progress. True Blood, read the books 📕, same with Salems Lot. Sorry this is so lengthy. 😊
@tattooed_stitcher3 ай бұрын
Thank you for the advice! I always use 1 strand over 2 on 40 but for some reason the cotton threads just aren’t easy for me to work with on that count!
@Jayne223 ай бұрын
@@tattooed_stitcher I thought that might be the case, I was just checking. I think you have already decided on the solution, you just need to implement it. Which I am sure you will do, despite purchasing some 40 count. Use the 36. I hate Aida, but it does not always stop me using it, I just go carefully and slowly. Love your videos, please keep them up. J 🎇🙂
