Your new addition to your family, Annie, is adorable. I hope you had a happy Mother’s Day. After being gone all day, celebrating Mother’s Day, it was nice to sit and stitch and watch your video. Your dad and I share the same birthday. I just turned 72 on Wednesday. Pandemic is amazing. So much beautiful stitching. That little tiny name you stitched on Eleanor Rigby I think? is so cute and teeny tiny. I love it. When you were referring to your friend that is like a sister, it’s called a sister from another mister, I learned that from The Fanciful Flamingo, Alicia. Love that saying. One last thing-I have stitched a gazillion Mill Hill kits starting back in the 80s when all you used was beads. Then when I came back to stitching the kits included cross stitching as well as beading. The directions tell you to stitch the cross stitches with three threads. I quit doing that because I found it to be too bulky. I stitch with two threads for the x’s and it looks fine. It’s also easier to run the threads through the stitches on the back when you are done with that color. Also, the instructions tell you to do a full cross with one of the sizes of beads, I can’t remember whether it’s the little or the big beads. I do a half cross. It’s so much easier and the beads stay on just fine. Have a great stitchy two weeks and enjoy that new puppy of yours. Such cuteness.

Our daughter is due in Nov, let us know in April ut as shes 44 wanted to be through her first trimester before saying for sure. Had her first ultrasound yesterday, her 5.5 yr old said oh is that what it looks like? And sigh I wanted 2 … so mama you and dad just have to breed again(yes he is very interested in animals and baby animals lol) the almost 3 yr old was wow can I see it, how will I watch it grow? Lol. I absolutely love stitching Sarah Milthorp and the house is awesome to stitch. For Sarah and Ann Campion, I got the Soie Surfine for the over one. That’s much easier for me plus I use a Number 10 needle. I tend to get the Surfine at Honby House Needleworks, The Attic or Needle in a Haystack. Vince is adorable and good luck with Annie, she is going to bring you so much joy.

I'm very behind on watching FlossTube.. but welcome Annie; you've adopted a wonderful family!! I've always viewed the fact that we were willing to open our hearts and homes to a new furry family member as a tribute to those who have gone before. I'm stitching ornaments for one of my WIPGO boards; I was doing really well through April; May and my obsession with stitching on my Mirabilias got in my way. I'm playing catch-up this month; thankfully none of the 5 I have for May and June are super stitch-heavy! Isn't it fun to have something smaller that gives a finish each month? I don't have the skill or experience to knit a Long Dog, but it sounds amazing. Of course, I'm now thinking that I could do it in crochet... Oh, Sarah, who are we fooling? No one tunes in to the see the stitching. It’s all about the earrings, and they’re always nice. Today’s sampling is very pretty. We even have one pair the same. I suppose we should get back to the stitching, big yawwwn . Your “C” ornament is lovely, and very pretty backing fabric. Pandemic is gorgeous, and the Milhorpe piece is lovely. As usual, all your stitching is beautiful. The Pansy Patch pattern is very sweet, but oh dear, what to say, except I hope it all fits on the fabric (do you see me giving you the evil eye lol). The T&G MFE sampler will be spectacular when done. Every time you hold it up and say it's stitched on Speculus, the word speculum comes to mind (eek!) so thanks for the reminder to book my yearly physical. What next, a fabric called Stirrups?! Eddy & Patsy looks great so far, though Percy gave me a loud harrumph when I said it was pretty. Eleanor Rigby is wonderful, and congrats on the 1 over 1 stitching.
