Lovely flosstube, loved it. I am Christmas stitching but to give as gifts and fear I will run out of time! I too love Stacy Nash designs. I had never heard of Jingle Ball before, checked it out and oh do I want to participate, if there is preparatory stitching to do, I don't have the time with other commitments but will still look at it.The Laundry Basket fabrics are just gorgeous and will look fabulous in the round the world design. How lovely to have a new car, that will make you rest easier when out and about knowing it is trustworthy.Looking forward to your next flosstube.

I have started Christmas stitching in preparation for the Jingle Ball. I also am planning on making a trip around the world quilt using fabric I inherited from my mom. The other quilt I am working on is a red and white quilt using half square triangles. I am using the half square triangle paper. I have to get the papers all sewn before my sister comes for a visit. We always sew enough for one quilt but trade half to make it a bit more scrappy. Good luck with your Christmas projects!

Yes, Christmas is on the go for me, however mostly quilting so far. Making tablerunners and table squares so far plus 2 or 3 quilts.

Oh Nicola, I am full time into my Christmas projects. Finished Santa 2024 and am now werking on Santa's house from tje Fabulous house series from Cottage Garden Samplings for a couple of days. Then it has to be work on my Jingle Ball project. So you are definitely not the only one gesting up for Christmas! 😊

On your trip around the world quilt: According to Google you get 640 2.5" squares from a jelly roll. You get 840 from 15 fat quarters. I made that exact quilt using the fat quarter bundle. I think I may have added a few more neutrals. Not positive though. It's a fun quilt and turns out beautifully. Good luck and have fun with it!

Enjoyed watching as always. Nicola. You inspire me every video. But I think we need an extra week added to each month! I was going to start Winter Rose Manor as a birthday start this month, but then came Stacy Nash's class...& I'm trying to finish last years Jingle Ball pieces , before more appear. I seem to be caught up in all the adorable smalls, the larger samplers sit waiting...something to think about for 2025...you are right ,though, if you commit to starting there is hope one might get it done!
