I appreciate your tips and hacks. They are all so helpful. I'm picking up a poster bag today. You make me smile and laugh out loud. You have a great sense of humor. I love you quote that you "buy faster than you stitch". I used to stitch on clothing years ago. My children always wanted something that was just for them. I'm pulling out my tear away and going thru my tiny motifs. I laugh when you drink your water from your fancy wine glass...but anything to brighten our day is wonderful. I love your craft room. Can't wait for your next video. So many patterns, so little time. 😉

A less expensive way to iron your cross stitch is to use a microfibre towel on your ironing board. It won't crush your stitches, and it clings to your fabric. Love ya!

I absolutely laughed out loud at the expression when you were reading the packaging blurb about ironing being fun - exactly how I feel. If I want stress, I would remarry an ex instead of ironing LOL! My mother, on the total opposite end of the normal spectrum, finds ironing relaxing so guess who gets to do all my ironing. I got my cast off Friday and am free to do whatever. I was quite surprised how stiff it was after sleeping Friday night but, after a couple hours of flexing and extending, it loosened up enough that I was able to do beading on the edging of my first hummingbird biscornu. I just wanted my piece to have a little more pizazz and sparkle. I think it is going to be nice looking for a first attempt. I need to find somewhat to hold my perforated paper pieces. Have tried the wood stretcher bars and didn't like them at all but my hands keep cramping when I stitch on it, thus limiting my ability to make progress. Thanks for another great video. Happy crafting.

Glad I made you giggle! I find myself absurd at times😂My dad was an avid stitcher and loved doing Mill Hill pieces. He was also a wood worker. He copied the perforated paper wood frame that’s sold but did care for it and went back to hand stitching. I think the trick to paper stitching is to relax the hand and not grab so tight, also to do it on a table rather than chair stitching. So glad your cast is off!!!! Continue healing ❤

I love that you always know where something is in your studio, even though it’s a big space. I’ve been looking online at wool pressing mats. Almost every mat has 3-4% of reviews saying the mat melts and leaves gunk on the iron. What size iron do you use? I have a full-size iron that I’d have set for linen/cotton. I wouldn’t be using a smaller palm-size iron. Would appreciate your thoughts on the melting issue. Thanks!

I have never had a meltdown on my mat😮I have a standard regular iron I use the same setting as you….wonder if those people leaving reviews just can’t iron?
