Rachel, love your hair! I used to watch old black and white movies while I sewed. As far as old TV shows go, I can re-watch Mary Tyler Moore, Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith, I Love Lucy and I'd love to find the Doris Day Show. For the newer shows to re-watch I love Mad Men, Gilmore Girls and Call The Midwife. I adore All Creatures Great and Small! I've just gotten back into cross stitch during 2020 so I'm still getting caught up on floss tube. I love Brenda and Laura, Just Keep Stitchin', Nicole's Needlework, The Contented Stitcher, Bumble Stitches (anything British) and Elizabeth Ann Can Stitch. I grew up in Arlington, Texas and watched Dallas when I was an older teenager. I'll have to revisit it and some of the other shows I've seen in the comments.

Wow! We have very similar taste. I'm a year into cross stitching after taking a 40 year break and I am amazed at the beautiful charts, floss and fabric. I binge-watched Heartland last winter. I loved it! Also, the Dallas remake is pretty funny. I'll be back to watch your videos and I have so many charts to buy now thanks to you. In My Father's House will be the first.

I 've been binge watching alot of shows in the past couple of years. I don't enjoy old shows esp. sitcoms. Some of my favs are Heartland, Call the Midwife, Bridgerton and a fun British show called Wild at Heart. Another really good limited episode show is Bonfire of Destiny. I also watch and try to keep up on several Flosstubes (yours included!!) And am watching from the beginning of Stitching With the Housewives...maybe a bit of stalker there!!!! It's been fun and interesting to watch how they got started and I am always looking for finishing inspiration, since I do all my own finishing and do alot of smaller and seasonal stitching. Am anxious to try out your fabrics! I am still trying out different counts so I don't want to order too much and find out I'm not happy stitching on it! Right now my sweet spot seems to be 32 ct. but I'm trying out 36 and 40. Thanks for taking time to chat with us all! I enjoy watching you!

Hi Rachel! Had to come back here to see what everyone is binge watching. I am a freak for medical dramas, and I just finished binging ER...for the second time! It's always a little depressing when it's over! Now I am watching Downton Abbey for the second time. I have not watched the movie yet, so thought I should refresh my memory before I do that. I LOVE your fabric!! My best friend is Justine, from Welcome Stitchery, so I get to see it first hand as I help her out in the store. Brea is my favorite. I always like seeing what you have in your charts to stitch. And your finishes are great to see. I have been amazed at how much I have missed out on in the last two years or more. There is no local stitching shop near me. The craft stores do not carry a lot of the designers that I recognize. I have been building up my supply because I went to order something that is no longer in print and have not been able to find it anywhere. That was so disappointing. I must be the only one wanting it. I have searched other places to buy it second hand. So far, no luck. Maybe I will find it in flea market someday. Will be here the next time you put up a video.

Favorite binge watch is Downton Abbey. I just started watching The Widow on Prime. It started off a little slow but now I’m into it. Love Yellowstone!!!! Thanks for the heads up on Dallas. Hi Rachel-we have BritBox so my husband and I binge watch Midsommer Murders, Father Brown Mysteries, Mrs Marple. To be fair I’m not sure he would watch them with me but my MS is flaring now and I’m home bound so he’s probably feeling sorry for me 🙂I also binged on Virgin River (fabulous) and Longmire. I also like old timey showed when I’m sick or scared so I go back to Golden Girls or Murder She Wrote-how pathetic is that! Haha . Gotta say, your hair is gorgeous! Your daughter did a great job! I retired after 32 years with Kaiser Permanente so I am catching up on all the shows that I never got to watch because I had to go to bed early to get up early to go to work! It's been really fun to binge watch stuff and watch characters develop from Season One. I enjoyed Grey's Anatomy, Call the Midwife, Roark (I think that's it), anything by Ken Burns, any Law and Order, etc. Have fun!

Yes!! Watch Dallas on Amazon prime. The first 2 seasons are combined and listed as season 1 and then they jump to season 3, but it actually is ALL of the episodes. I'm watching more today. It's so fun all of the old clothes, hair, cars, etc. I almost think these storylines would even work ( sort of ) on a current " soap opera". I'm having a ton of fun watching!!

Hi Rachel! I binge watch the same Flosstubes multiple times that you do apparently ….I always see something new that I didn’t notice before! I would add Eclectic Possessions, Kindred Stitcher, and Texstylust for the same reasons = large inventories of stash. Lol Some of my favorite non-stiching binge watching lately has been The British Baking Show and Call the Midwives . I just finished binging Longmire on Netflix. Now I am binging on the Mandalorian. Two opposites..lol. One flosstube I enjoy that is a little different than most is "Crafty Stitchers" from the UK. They don't stitch the designs I do but they are so funny. There is a laugh-out-loud moment in every video. They are just fun to watch. Really looking forward to your video featuring Scarlet Letter designs. I don't know how you manage to keep up with everything. It sounds exhausting. Always enjoy your videos.

I don’t watch tons of regular tv anymore as I got into Turkish television with English subtitles when the pandemic started and that’s when I also found flosstube so I have lots of flosstube to watch. I’m starting to really like samplers so I binge watch Carol at Saltbox too, Lisa from Kindred Stitcher and Sheri from Colorado Stitcher. I also enjoy Caroline from Off the Grid Needlearts. But you are a huge enabler so I will have to rewatch your videos again and again as you have done some great Samplers. Thank you for a great video again! Stay warm. Rachel, when lockdown hit I binged all of Downton Abby. I don’t like watching my British murder mystery shows until there are several seasons so I can get totally immersed. I subscribe to BritBox. The only FlossTubers I have gone back in time to watch is CreativeLeigh, Leigh McDonald from New Zealand. She is soooo fast and prolific!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Enjoyed the folk arty designs the most, really appealing. I missed Monk when it was on TV and binge watched that last year. Yellowstone this year, and loved Amazon's Reacher season 1 - easy to watch in one weekend. I might start NCIS from the beginning. Do I watch the same flosstubers every week? 100% yes. I don’t watch the same videos over and over though lol. I do make sure I hit the like button on the things I do watch, it helps that channel and it also helps ME as the watcher by telling KZbin the kind of stuff I like watching. I find other channels I haven’t watched before come up in my feed all the time. Most times I sub, sometimes I don’t but I always like getting that variety that everyone has to offer. And on the occasions I’m caught up on flosstube, I like binging movies. Flosstube, movies, stitching. What more does a girl need? 🤗

I was devastated when the show left Netflix, and my loved ones have not yet gifted me the individual seasons for holidays/birthdays. :( I do revisit flosstube channels (especially one in particular), but more often listen to audio books. Do you get into those or prefer physical books?

I haven't watched Frasier in years! I was in the studio audience for the taping of the very first episode... I actually was sitting next to Kelsey Grammers wife at the time. 😂😂

The tickets for Frasier were hard to get and I figured Frasier was a better bet since I loved cheers. The new show we were offered tickets to was Friends 🤦‍♀️

Wow I haven’t thought about Dallas in a looong time! My hubby and I were going steady then and over the years developed a Friday night date watching Dallas, ordering a pizza and playing Yatchzee, lol. We also watch a lot of old shows, TCM and British shows. Brenda and Laura are my only must watch and maybe your videos. I get you....the Stacy Nash family alphabet ....yes requires effort. Cracked me up! I did snag some Hemingway from Keepsakes and I was super happy to get it! Thank for sharing with us!

I have binged The Flying Nun. It was such a cute show. It was on the Roku channel. I also own a couple of series from the Sci-Fi channel that I can pick up anytime at any episode and complete a re-watch. I really enjoy seeing what Sherri from Colorado Cross Stitch has been up to and Lori Holt is great for stash enhancement planning.

I have rediscovered Perry Mason, the original series. A lot of it was shot around Los Angeles, so that’s interesting to me. I love TCM and their film noir series. And there is nothing like Dateline or 60 Minutes Australia for true crime.

I binge-watch Midsomer Murders because it is such a simple show and I don't have to pay too close attention to it. I never did watch the last season of Doc Martin. I need to remedy that.

I've only seen a few episodes of Doc Martin. My dad tells me he watches it everyday!! I'll have to go and watch a bit if it, I do have the PBS passport, so I can watch them all! 😉

Michigan is 1500 hours... not as long as VA 😬 I went in High School ( didn't finish ) in California and there its only 1000 hours. Crazy how each state is so different!!

I just finished Rose Cottage Sampler Pinkeep today! Love it. I also struggled with the initials. I decided to include my initials and my hubby's on the first line, then my parent and hubby's parents on the lower line, using maiden name for the women. I have Little Summer Sampler in my stash, but of course the recommended linen is no where to be found. What are you going to use?

Oh boy. That's a tough one.. I haven't picked a linen yet. I guess something pretty light. Maybe even just an antique white and tea or coffee stained. Those thread colors are so light, I'm not sure they'd show up on a lot of linens...

Your mother is my mother 😂. I binge watch true crime, but the old stuff, not the new dramatised stuff. The Ausie ones are really scary - Crime Investigation Australia, or Forensic Investigators. I also love old British drama - Spooks, Wire in the Blood, Cracker, Taggart (I'll watch the 80's and 90's Taggart over and over - saddo). I'm enjoying Ozark, and rewatching Vikings. I'll binge watch Lisa Smith, Carol, and Theresa Venette, Kim Goldman among others.

Since Betty White died I have been watching the Golden Girls. I never watched that show the first time around. It is interesting to contrast that image of women in their fifties with the women in the remake of Sex in the City.

How about the Gilmore Girls and Buffy the Vampire Slayer for binge-watching? I've binge-watched both of those. I am currently going back and binge-watching Law and Order SVU (Hulu or Peacock TV). That's like 20+ seasons. I have a while to go yet.

Gilmore Girls is one of my all time favorites... I've probably watch the whole series at least 10 times. 😂😂 it certainly is another show I kick on a lot and my girls watch it alot too!! Buffy is a good one to revisit... haven't seen that in years!!

Gotta say right off.....I can tell your not a born & bred Michigan gal, :-) I am....and Flannel wasn't a standard @ least in my growing up...it always was lambs wool turtleneck or pullover sweaters.....flannel jammies oh yeah. Traverse City is a ❤beautiful but sure darn cold if your close to the Water...and debt forget the winds!! We almost bought a home up there. I'll bet you've never heard the five finger lake song either :-) Not singing it Lol I love my favorite floss tubes...Can't stitch while watching...to many stops ...but knitting is ok. :-) some are from Belgium & a few England... Aussie.And a lot her in US... I hope by Feb I will have a chance to get some linen.:-) do wear your gloves for protection....:-) Enjoyed your previous share .....Scarlet Letter is an unsung hero and The Examplarery , and JoAnn Harvey is a Michigan native.
