Chickens bring back sweet memories as a child gathering eggs from my momma’s chickens. Loved all your beautiful cross stitch projects and love that gorgeous Lori Holt quilt. I’ve always wanted to do one of hers and I just might do the simpler one for a first quilt. Your blocks were so pretty. I don’t know how you get so much done but I love seeing it all! I live in Mississippi but I sure did enjoy my visit to Colorado a few years ago. It’s beautiful country❤

I posted on the wrong one. I had stitched this and had it framed and then it was destroyed in a baseyflood. I love it, I was h raised on a farm where we always had chicken or chickens. My grandma lived in a log house. Thank you for all your videos. They’re lots of company

Those quilts are absolutely amazing. And your stitching is beautiful too. I have thought of just doing a few of the blocks on Hawkrun so now I may take the plunge. I am 68 and I am not going to stitch anything that I do not like.:) I also have donated a few of my stitched framed pieces to a local church to auction for missions. They were pretty but did not fit my decor anymore. And they raised a nice amount for missions so it was a win win. I just ordered a shirt from StitchFolk that says, Stitch What You Like!! And I just subscribed to Door Doctor. Thanks for the info.

Great to see you again! My next door neighbors had chickens and everyday I saw at least one fox and usually more stalking their hen house! Occasionally, I was awakened in the middle of the night by loud noises and it was upsetting. Not only because I have indoor/outdoor cats, but I enjoyed those chickens. The neighbors have since moved.
