Prayers for your husband’s complete recovery! 🙏🏻 I had a tree cutter come cut down all the trees that could land on our house! We live in the woods so I don’t need trees especially BIG ones in my yard! After my husband’s stroke this Spring, things have changed so much but stitching has remained, and kept my hands busy and my mind at ease. Keep stitching Marlene! ❤

A great flosstube. I hope Jerry continues to do well. Hearing about his journey brought back memories. My husband had a heart attack and bypass surgery about a year ago. He is now doing well. It was complicated because he went for a hike just over in the county next to us. He realized something was wrong when he had a hard time walking. He was able to call 911, and fortunately they could find him. He was deep in the woods. They took him to the hospital by ambulance to the county where he had been hiking. Turned out to be good they took him there. They took him to a hospital a little further, where the surgery could be done. He had an excellent Dr. He’s 74. As I said, he is doing well. I pray that your husband will continue to heal. It takes awhile to heal so keep being hopeful. It will happen. I’m glad you have wonderful support and family. Prayers and a warm hug!! 🍁🍁🍁🌲🌲

I have watched you from day one and don't n think I have ever told you how much I enjoy your videos. Although the accent is different you remind me so much of my mother's voice. I spent so many hours with her in the hospital and various doctor's over the years before she passed. The last couple years she lived in a mother in law home we set up beside us. I didn't have outside family help but my daughters and husband helped a lot. I know exactly how hard caregiving can be both physically and especially mentally. I will continue to keep you and your husband in my prayers.

Marilyn…take heart that it took my husband 12 weeks to get himself back on track and he was 61-62. The most difficult thing for Jack was the push to get him up and going the first few weeks. As hard as it was I feel that it was the absolute best thing in his recovery. Now just so you know, Jack went in thinking he was just having the balloon and out…he didn’t come home for 3 1/2 weeks as the blockage was so severe that the procedure couldn’t be done and surgery was scheduled…then a hematoma came to put a wrecking ball into everything that was scheduled leaving him flat on his back for days with a hard ball strapped so tight on his groin he about went over the edge. In all of this he went through the heart surgery only having a double instead of a triple due to one artery already rerouting itself AND to me the absolute best part was he was finally able to kick the smoking habit he’d had for 3 decades. Probably truth be told…that was his biggest hurdle to jump but sometimes God doesn’t mess around when He decides how our life is going to play out. The only lasting issue Hunny deals with is the weather and his titanium breast plate they had to insert, seems all the barometric pressure changes wreck havoc on him. I am praying for Jerry and you as you both journey through his recovery process. Have no fear for God is in control and He is so good ALL THE TIME! I think often about your lemon tree as I remember having a discussion about it when it was sickly. Keep it as close to a full sun window as you can and it will weather the indoor confinement ok I’m sure. Thanks for sharing a bit of life and stitching…I always enjoy all your visits. Happy Thanksgiving to you and all your family!!!:):):)

Love your video. Was fun to see all your wipes very interesting. How can you stitch on 37ct, 36ct and so on it is so small. If you can do it! I can do it! You give me such incentive! I have no one in my family that does cross stitch or even interest in it. I just love it so much. I feel I am worth it, but no one to share it with do it gets lonesome. Thank God I have the drive to do it and applications for it. I love that you share your family's news. I look forward to that too. I send my heartfelt prays for Jerry and you. Take care bless your so much. You are one classy lady.

Sometimes it takes perseverance to stitch on the smaller counts. I use readers and a magnifier and lots of lights, all at once. And then I stitch for an hour. I put it away and go to a project with a lower count and come back to the higher count a couple of days later. Try it...I bet you can do it. Blessings, Marlene
