I like hearing you talk, instead of music. Thanks! I end my threads the same way as you do!! I saw Vani’s method a couple of months ago, and I love it. I am a long time cross country stitcher, and this method allows me to do it in a more controlled way. I usually do 10 stitches wide. I do it mostly for the backgrounds, and I don’t mind going over the diagonal line to stitch another stitch, which is by itself. If I come across something, like a flower, that is more than one diagonal, I stitch that, in order to use my threads efficiently and not waste my time by stopping and starting a colour, just used in this area. Thanks for showing it!!

Congratulations to your son! I use Vani's method as well. I like a 10 wide diagonal but will sometimes finish a thread in the next diagonal if it makes sense to me. I have changed my high confetti HAEDs over to this method. It seems to make it easier to avoid mistakes.

Congrats to you and your son!!! I have a project that i stitch like vani’s method. Mine is mostly greys so it works good and when i finish a thread i also start back at the top. Enjoy your new pattern it looks awesome so far!!

Excellent choice as usual on your project! I think the diagonal cross country might go faster, I’ve watched Thread the Needle videos and it’s an excellent tutorial.your English is fine stop worrying. I can see the stitches your doing just fine. Congratulations to your son 🍾🎊🎉 good job mom and dad!

Hey my friend. Love the new project. What you also can consider, is to do the white only inside the frame (just Audrey Hepburn’s face) and not on the rest, love the look where you have not done the withe background, really looks like an old vintage poster 😊❤️

Great decision that not to stitch with white. It would hide the beauty of the fabric. And stitching white color in big area might not be much fun. 😬
