Great tutorial! This was so helpful. This is a great way to finish off a round. I am almost finished with a stitch for my daughter and will give this a try. I enjoyed how you painted your stand. The distress ink really added to it. Thank you!

Yay! So glad you found it helpful. I love this way of finishing a round. I have another one I finished too with a slightly different paint treatment. Hopefully I can make it into a video as well. The distress ink really did change the look, it was the perfect finishing touch!

Oh Chari! Your finished piece looks fabulous! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have some round Christmas decorations that I’m about to finish and this tutorial is perfect! The part where you cut a circle from paper so that you could centre the design was genius!! And the lacing instructions were very helpful. Can’t wait to get finishing!!

Chari, your finished piece is so great! Your lacing is excellent! I am not a hot glue girl, but I am an Aleen's girl! :) I always feel like hot glue will eventually give out.

I am not usually a hot glue person for stitching but when you need a quick hold like on the rick rack I do think it is a good choice. 😉 Adhering to the board I definitely prefer Aleene's!

Fantastic tutorial! I like the display board that you used. I used your link to buy it, but I have a problem paying $9.95 flat rate shipping for a $8.50 item! Great for those buying multiple items. I’ll be sure to note your Flosstube tutorial for my future use. TFS.
@marygillmarten67585 ай бұрын
It's definitely worth buying multiple items at once from Chantelle! I know what you mean about buying one small thing, I save up my purchases until the shipping is worth it.
@charimoss5 ай бұрын
Shipping costs are never cheap, I usually buy a few things from her to justify the shipping costs but I always remind myself that the postal service is who sets those costs, not the small business sellers. Hopefully you will find some more things you like from Chantelle's shop and can order multiple items. Thank you so much for watching, I am happy you enjoyed the tutorial. I'm sure the techniques I used for painting can be used on other pieces too. 😁
