Kyla Riley rest assured from what I can see this phone is one if not the most advanced phone in the world. The screen just got the best award by Displaymate. ONLY two companies have AMOLED Samsung is one of them and its the best. I only know about 4 phones that have Qualcomms Snapdragon 835 which is the latest chipset with the most advanced features like gigabit LTE CAT 16 its one of the first to feature Gigabit LTE which means incredibly fast internet speeds unheard of just two years ago. Gigabit Wifi Snapdragon 835 means its 30% smaller chipset which equates to less heat, 30% smaller physical size, 27% more processing power, 40% better battery performance. S8 has IMX333 or equivalent image sensor. better photos with better focusing. S8 has UFS 2.0 which means storage is 5X faster - photos are saved and retrieved much faster. Mike Cox As someone who bought and used both you are out of your mind. There's actually a class action lawsuit for the Nexus 6P for the myriad of issues. Also battery life is trash, no waterproofing or wireless charging and it has massive bezels. It did have a great camera and speakers though.

Every person I know that had both phones kept the s8 & sold the plus. They said the s8 just felt better in hand, they can do everything with 1 hand. They felt it took 2 hands to pull the top screen down on s8+. They also preferred the arttic silver. I've seen it with my own eyes. Videos don't do it justice. They said other reasons too which lead to me ordering the s8 2 days ago in the silver color. But to each its own.

Michael Behnken Well, I have a Galaxy S7 Edge (5.5 Inch inch screen vs 5.8 & 6.2 of the S8 respectively) Let me share with you my thoughts on the matter. When setting the display to 1080p from 1440p the difference is there but so miniscule that if you didn't know it was there or weren't looking for it you'd never see it. When setting it 720p the difference definitely there. Extremely noticable. literally looks just like those budget Samsung phone displays on such a large screen. 5.5 inches when they should only be on 5 inches or lower. Now with the Galaxy S8, the displays are definitely larger but I don't believe the pixels are actually much less dense, if at all because of the new "infinite" display so I'd expect largely the same results. P.S, of you're wondering for battery saving efforts don't bother. The Screen is still QHD and the hardware is still pushing all of that, 720p just downscales but makes virtually​ no difference in the battery life. Kind of pointless, unfortunate but expected.

What really annoys me about the price, is that Samsung is making it seem like they are giving you a pair of hi-fi earphones when all isn't as it seems. So, it turns out Samsung pulled a bit of a fast one. The earphones aren't actually manufactured by AKG, but rather just tuned by them. They are still Samsung earphones, they've just been rebranded. I suppose it's not a big deal if they sound good, but still. It's just disappointing, considering this was a selling point.

i got my s8 plus, its amazing. personally do not like the one plus 3T, hopefully the next one is better. I also prefer the fingerprint scanner on the back - with a case its easy as hell to find and its more natural for me picking the phone up with just my right hand...just some thoughts. Also the LGG6 is not 550? its 700 plus tax as far as I can tell idk what ur talkin about. Also s8 was 100 bucks off at most places...so i paid 750 for s8 plus.
