Tip about the fingerprint sensor on the S5: Set it up in one hand using your thumb at the slanted angle in the way you will most likely unlock the device. Don't follow the animation where its perfect vertical index finger. You should have MUCH better results.

When you setup your fingerprints, if you swipe at different angles it produces a more accurate reading and also allows you to unlock the device without your thumb at an angle instead of straight up and down

Even tho I would love to have two loud speakers on my smartphone with a nice metal built.. I just can't get an m8 yet. There are a few things that Samsung does right that keeps me with them. On thing that I truly enjoy is the Drop Down Notification bar..I cannot go back to htc sense or stock notification bar..I just can't do it..next is having a removable back cover is such a huge advantage in more than one way. I currently have a white note 3 but I also have the black colored oem back cover as well that I bought off amazon. I also have 3 other 3rd party funky colors ..this is very beneficial because the main cover that came with the phone will be kept in mint condition and it's fun to be able to replace your back cover to different colors. Also obviously you can swap your battery throughout the day without ever having to actually charge your phone or you can keep a spare battery in your pocket or wallet or car. Another reason is the camera.. I gotta have the best camera. Another crucial thing I like about touchwiz is the lock screen. Being able to write "flossy" or something that identifies yourself is really cool..Also another must is being able to have any 5 icons you like on your lock screen..such as quick important ones like a flashlight an alarm clock , shazam, and different stealth cameras. Also features such as Sbeam and multi window I will miss when I go to another phone..another thing I will miss is the physical button. I could do without the capacitive buttons but I need a physical button there for convenience also I can put fun aluminum stickers on it for extra Floss factor. And the MAIN reason I stick with Samsung is how dam beautiful and colorful touchwiz looks. From icons to beautiful weather widget and calender widget.. simple beautiful.

I remember I used to be deep into technology and specs the s5 came out and I didn't even know!!! Same with the htc one mini and max! I go out of tech a few months before the 5s release. I have iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4g and they work fine. Except the 3GS battery dies randomly when low even before the twenty percent warning. Even safari closed on it own! My iPods getting old too.

when you going to get them new Spigen joints for the s5, if your going to get them may i recommend the tough armor in black or gunmetal, ultra hybrid in gray, and their flip view in either color. those cases are the ones that i think are the hottest ones they have.

I went from the note 3 to the HTC One M8 and i'm definitely happy with the change. Having the s4 last year, and playing with the s5, i definitely am not getting that shit. Too many gimmicks, not enough thats enticing to me. The m8 does tons of things that i look for in a phone correctly. Hope people make a wise decision and not go for the s5 cuz people think its the "phone to get". I'll agree i like amoled screens better, and the camera on the s5 is better, but the rest of the m8 is significantly better.

I wouldn't say anything on the M8 is significantly better, besides the Build quality, and the speakers! but the s5 should have had better speakers rather than being water resistant in my opinion, i got the htc one m7 from last year and it got KitKat like 2 months before the s4, haha, overall HTC one m8 is a tie i think with the s5, and may win just slightly, only if the camera was better, than it would blow the s5 away!! :)

It's not slow, they scale the animation to a smooth animation, you can make it faster, go to Developer Options, then change Window animation scale, Transition and Animator from 1x to 0.5x. You'll get the speed you want.

That's one of the major downsides of AMOLED along with burn in. However the S5 offers a 66% improvement in brightness. The S4 reaches a brightness of 300nt while the S5 reaches 500nt.

I've noticed on the s5 and s4 I think. They have a raised bit of plastic over the speaker. Also my samsung protective case has a slight bump under the speaker cut out. I guess to keep it raised to hear better. Still bad place for it.

But now after using it bro... It's A monster... Faster than my Own Note3 3....so i went back to see what did i miss... So the 2 GB Ram was the fastest in the market 1800 not 1600... Also the processor were the fastest too snapdragon 801 2.5 not 2.3.... So that's why it is the fastest thing on the market now..... Add to the mix.... Huge increase in the brightness... Double the S4... Almost as bright as the iPhone/HTC /LCD ... What made it easy to use under the sun / The camera is Crazy crisp AF /MFP / HDR /isocell / lot's of the features that you can find only in the Pro SLR Cameras Download Galaxy S5 demo app at the playstore it will give you fast demo to the hidden features of the S5 camera Battery life is unbelievable 20.5 heavy usage /37.5 +/- normal /light usage up to 52 hours bro.... That's 2 days 4 hours...it's True... That without using the ultra power save mode which add 10/6 day of usage all the phone missing was the speakers.... Guess what.... Element case... Released there cover with the SBS which make the speakers of the S5 like the HTC...
