Hi! I’ve been wanting to discuss this and I feel the need to mention:bras are not sexual, they’re not inappropriate, not wearing one is not inherently sexual. However, the fact how Gacha Disney mentions inappropriate context is what makes the video sexual. It’s also because:why would you make an AU to ship a child with an adult and make her sexualized? Gacha Disney is likely young, but that doesn’t justify being fairly strange in How they portray children.

I first found out about her channel when she started posting Encanto videos. When she came out with Turning Red videos, the only thing I didn't like about it was her AU. I am very against the ship Tyler x Mei. There isn't any reason, I just felt they wouldn't ever be together. I didn't think anything was wrong with her channel until I saw this video. It really made me open up to more things and realize the mistakes she was making. Especially after I started reading the comments, I found that I agreed (and disagreed) with quite a few of them. To the ones I disagreed with, after I read what they had to say, I realized I was sort of in the wrong. And now, after skimming through a lot of comments and watching this video, once I think back on her videos, I can agree that some are quite inappropriate.

In all honesty, the apology was extremely sucky. Although bras aren’t inappropriate themselves, the way that they used them made it appear that sexual events had taken place. Even if it’s an AU, you need to remember they’re minors in the original which an alternate universe gives you no excuse to sexualize those characters. I have NEVER understood the phrase of "aging them up" it genuinely confuses me. How in the world did you think it's okay to sexualize kids just cause you "aged them up in your au" it's stupid in general if they're created as kids, let them stay as kids like srsly. The only time aging them up can work is if there relationship has grown when they’ve gotten older, and honestly that can only really happen if it’s creator makes it. I’ve literally been trying to respectfully inform her about the 4town ages… but I just kept getting really mad since she always says it’s her au.I don’t know how she is trying to send body positivity when she made mei and her friends getting the wrong body size. In my opinion, even though 4town doesn’t have confirmed ages, its still weird shipping them for Mei and her friends are just fangirls and fanboys. There wasn’t any “romantic” interactions between them and the band. Boy bands were most likely 20+ years old during the 2000s, so it’s obvious their all 20+.
