I also have an idea for the radial menu for the farms, instead of having to select the crop everytime you could maybe have it remember the last thing you planted, then if you just press F on all of the spots it will plant without having to select it again and then if you long press F the radial menu opens up to let you select a new crop type.

By the way maybe one suggestion would be to play player idle animation while UI is open, because currently the character keeps rotating to the cursor position and it feels kinda distracting.

it would be cool if there was some sort of upgrade that could let you plant multiple crops at once. having to plant each one individually would probably get boring pretty quickly with larger farms.

I disagree - have you played a farming game like stardew valley before? There’s nothing more satisfying than doing all that busy work and then reaping the rewards. But it would be nice if you could hit a single button to plant your selected crop in each slot instead of having to use a mouse and wheel thing

@@DavidFong21 I started with that game recently and in my eyes it's tedious work combined with a penalty for losing a lot of energy. Unfortunately, that game is more about going deep into that mine so you can upgrade and automate stuff. That's at least how it feels to me. Edit: Which actually means that I don't really consider it a farming game. I spent more time chopping trees, fishing and going deep in the mine than farming.

You should add fishing and hunting systems as well as either bugs/animals that raid your crops so it encourages you to expand/put up fences/fortifications to your base to protect your main source of money

Here is idea. It might be cool to have second hotkey when planting stuff "F" - to add 1 plant "G" - to add 9x same plant (fill up one fundament). It would make things faster and also less boring on big plantations :)

Garden plot sounds kinda cool and would work with the smaller beds You should make it a choice to maybe make it 3rd person or rotate the camera around the character so the player can see different angles. Would be very helpful for building especially.

Planting crobs seems really cumbersome at the moment. If you have a big farm and have to open your context window for each tile and then click the right plant that just takes so much time. Why not make it such that you can select which crob in the radial menue and then it stays selected and you can just click wherever you wanna plant that crob instead of going through the menue over and over

Yes it is! All the interaction UI is world-space and rendered on top of the scene. It helps to add to the immersion and feel of the game :)
