I really love the building system in this game! One suggestion is to make some items be colorable/dyeable, like the rugs, beds, chairs with cushions, and tiled roofs. That would add a lot more variation to building, which would be neat. Also its insane that this is made by just two people, I would've guessed that this would take a team of at least 10. You guys are doing an awesome job with this Lens Island!

Looking fantastic. Would be great if the decorative items had a purpose beyond making the house pretty. Maybe something along the lines of a comfort level that would give you a small boost for the following day.

I randomly found this game. Honestly it looks very good and i'm excited to play it when it will come out, it's been a really long time since i played any open world building type adventure game and this one looks really promising. For future ideas maybe dlc: Boats could be implemented to navigate the sea and find treasures and caves on small islands etc, just an idea would be great to see that in the future.

thank you for adding wasd keys , i have tendonitis in my right arm and clicking the mouse repetitively makes my arm sore and limits me to playing only for short periods, so this will help me enjoy this game for longer sessions. loved the demo and cant wait for the release. cheers!

All the additional Decorative stuff and upgrades, the Well and Windmill, the card games for those with a lucky streak (or those who will spend the 10 gold they just got on the Cas and get soft banned for the night), the Lattice Planters and the new control scheme are just great. Amazing progress, I can't wait to try it out. Nice to hear you are adding alternate control methods. I'm fine with mouse movement but sometimes I like to lean back with my Steam Controller. That's the one that supports binding keys and mouse to the touchpad so it should work right now.

Add various domestic animals that we can get very rarely in dungeons and later trade them and rare veggies to be found in dungeon so both farming and adventuring will go hand in hand

I already love the game so much, wouldn’t be AMAZING to add like an expedition, travel to gather new resources from dangerous lands and have on them small fun storylines? And you could save people that are in danger in there and they come work for you on the island and have a little community, and of course they’ll need houses and… I’m sorry, if I go on I won’t stop lol, really excited for the game anyway.

I absolutely love how this game looks and works mechanically. May I ask how the movement works, exactly? And would it be possible to instead make it behave more like... holding left click allows you to rotate the camera around your character and pressing right click while holding left will make your character run in that direction?

is it possible to add more complex food items to the game? I’ve missed some of the past dev diaries so I’m not sure if this has been added, but stuff like cake, pies, soup etc would be really cool. cooking animations/preparations would also be amazing. i’m just a sucker for life-simulation and the domestic aesthetic, if you couldn’t already tell.

The Game looks pretty nice. Awesome work. I'm missing an option to see how many resources and money I have before I buy or build something. I think it would be nice to know that. Because we don't have the God mode like you 😄

I would love, if the needed resources for buying or building, would pop up in the right bottom corner (like now after buying) and shows me how much from that certain resources I have. And when I hover over another one the resource changes. And after buying or building the "minus" animation like know shows up.

The only thing that irks me is that its not obvious how many resources you have, when you are building.. and would just 'not be able to build' perhaps showing the available resources when building somewhere would be useful

The dev team only consists of 2 people who actually do the programming, so implementing multiplayer/co-op is difficult. They want to, but they simply don't have the resources to do so right now. Maybe in the future post-release, but who knows!

There will be some wildlife on the surface for you to hunt/kill eventually. There's no pvp, it's a single-player game.

Wow, Im seriously impressed! You two have made even MORE progress since I played the demo. It doesnt feel like that long ago. I can see this game becoming a classic if you continue adding new furniture and features at this same rate. I would highly recommend adding micro-transactions for cosmetics so that you can continue expanding upon this game without worrying about living expenses. It's always better when a game is improved over many years instead of making a new game from scratch.
