Hi Heather and Winston😁, Those look very good. I like sardines on a little bit of a spicy side. I would say the combination of those spices would make it extra good. Peppercorns I would think would make it very good. What type of pepper was in those sardines? Cloves are a good spice to season with. All you have shown look like they are good….It’s cold here in Eastern Kentucky. Sardines like that would be good to warm you up …..Enjoy your videos very much…..

I visited Morocco when I was in the Navy back in the early 60s. I remember some of my friends donated blood to Legionnaires. They were pleased to get my blood. I'm O negative. Anyone can use O-negative blood because it's the universal blood type. After we donated blood, they gave us a snack and some African beer. I recalled it tased of hoops. We were given a ride back to the city from the base and advised on where to go and where to avoid. I had a good time walking around and enjoying the sights and sounds and some food.

Yes summers here are dreamy. Vermont has perfect levels of PH in the soils at around 7. So it much more lush then NH and especially ME which is the most acidic. That why they have so many pine trees. I’ve lived in all three, plus NY. I do love the Adirondacks as well. The Finger Lakes are my favorite area in up state. Back to VT. Our Capital Montpelier is sweet, no graffiti, almost no crime.Lots of people of the arts and letters. Very Liberal. It’s tiny. Burlington is on Lake Champlain with 3 universities so it definitely a college town and only 1.5 hrs from Montreal which I love. Best French Fries in North America, plus better Jewish deli food than NYC. Upper North East Kingdom is full of left over hippies from the 60’s and 70’s. We never lock our doors and leave our car keys in our cars. We have around 50 hummingbirds that return each summer. Miles of rivers and streams all around us. Great skiing and boarding abound. The summer stuff not even be better. It’s definitely a more spiritual place.

Hi - Based on your review of the Nuri Spicy sardines, I ordered 5 cans. My wife and I really like them although I think they're a little light concerning spiciness. Earlier today I picked up 2 cans of King Oscars packed in EVOO with "Hot Jalapeno Peppers". When I opened the can, I was surprised by how many slices of jalapeno were in there - it was 8. And the sardines were definitely well spiced with heat and flavor. Maybe you could do a review on these sardines in the future.

Once again your video came out right after I had just eaten some canned fish. This time is was the Bumble Bee brand smoked flavored coho salmon. It was good. Since your last video I bought 3 cans of the brisling sardines but I may try them tomorrow. I saw some mackerel from King Oscar on your shelf today. The King is the best. It's freezing cold here this week in my neck of the woods in the southeastern US. So cold that I'm wearing a sweater in the house. It's a good thing that I don't own your dog because I know I would spoil him to death and feed him too much. Until next time happy eating to you both. 😁👍
@SardineExpeditionКүн бұрын
I don’t think I’ve seen bumblebee salmon yet! I’ll keep an eye out!! You stay warm bundled up in your sweater!! Yeah, Winston is hard not to spoil! 😁
@stevexray6253Күн бұрын
@SardineExpedition It's less expensive but it's good. I usually sprinkle a little sea salt on it and grab a non-alcoholic beer and dig in.
@SardineExpeditionКүн бұрын
@stevexray6253 Heck yeah! I’ll grab one if I see it. Sometimes my eyes ignore the canned salmon because we have a freezer full of it, but I’ll look harder!
@stevexray6253Күн бұрын
@SardineExpedition I like it because it's not fishy. If the brisling sardines are too fishy for me then the feral cat gets a nice meal.😁

It's pretty crazy how expensive some of these small cans of fish are. I just checked to see if Amazon Canada has Nuri sardines and they do but you have to give up your first born for them. lol $65 Canadian dollars for 4 cans. I guess I'll be sticking to the cheaper ones but even they're around $2 a can(a lot of them are from china as well which is probably not so great).
@SardineExpeditionКүн бұрын
I understand because I’ve looked for Canadian brands and they are an arm and a leg on Amazon too. I broke the bank on one can that hasn’t arrived yet. It better not let me down!!!

The Mororccan spiced sardines looks very flavorful with the Moroccan spices and the oil looks very dark. I'll have to get some and try these out when I get the chance. Thanks for your review Heather. Winston seems to enjoy them as well. I also give you props for living in the freezing 🥶 snowy 🌨️❄️ weather in Alaska. I don't like the snowy weather very much. I'll visit the snow when I go up to the mountains 🏔️ during this winter, but I don't like to live in the snowy climate.

@@SardineExpeditionAlways nice to see Winston enjoy his share of sardines. Long freezing snowy winters would be unbearable for me. 🌨️🥶 You and Winston definitely need a vacation 😁. I also forgot to mention that the Moroccan spiced sardines have a good size chili pepper 🌶️ in the can. You mentioned the pepper being more flavorful and not very spicy. Looks like these Moroccan spiced sardines would be good on some pita bread with some hummus.🤤😋

Why are the calories so much higher? Spices should not add calories.
@SardineExpedition16 сағат бұрын
Some brands include the oil in the calories and others don’t and will list (drained) for the oil. So if you’re not consuming all the oil in these, the calories would be a lot less.
