Life savor you are! I gotta get that book! And there’s a KZbin channel to go along! I did the cross center and tied it off and tried doing one center but wasn’t working for my star center I wanted to do and couldn’t figure out how to fix it being a newbie but this video cleared it right up where I went wrong when trying to do the particular center of my flower this time around. Thanx! You got a subscriber here!

I love this, I also love the shawl you showed us, I would love to see you do a tutorial on that shawl as I am a visual person and need to watch how things are made, if it wasn't for KZbin I would no longer be able to learn new stitches, new crafts etc, thank you so much for sharing something new

Thank you, glad you loved it! I'm working on more flower videos first. I do have an idea for connecting them in a different way but need to test it. The pattern from the book though I cannot legally show as it would violate copyright.

You're welcome, thanks for watching and asking. Woven flowers have actually been made for more than a hundred years. They can be used as a simple broach or pin to a lapel, jacket or blouse. Pin 1 or more to a bag, hat, or make a series of them to make a scarf, shawl or lace like table accent. A new fun twist that I haven't seen would be to add it to the end of some sort of shawl pin. You would need to make sure the center part is the part fastened but it would be a beast way to keep a shawl into place. I hope these idea are helpful. I'm thinking of making a series of them and hanging as an accent in the room or doorway to my girls room for a fun surprise. I actually have a ladies event at my house this weekend and am thinking of doing that to the opening of the hall to direct them to the restroom. "Go through the flower wall and take a left!" haha. Have a FUN making flowers, Lina! :-)
