Learning a lot from you--also just kind of love how you'll be totally focused on something small and very reflexive and focused and then you feel something and do something really bold--some real passion in there along with that very calm voice.

Mr. Klein, this is unlike anything I've seen from you in the past as regards your palette set-up. Have you changed your approach altogether, or just for this painting? Also, why do you usually put your yellows on the other side of white? Beautiful work as always.

Yes, I arranged the palette closer to the visible spectrum of light. So the wave lengths of color correspond to the way colors flow into one another from that perspective, hope that makes sense.

@@michaelkleinpochadepalette Ahh yes I see now, that does make sense. Thank you!

Leaves are so difficult , why ?
@michaelkleinpochadepaletteАй бұрын
Good question, probably the character of the shape. Leaves are thin so there is a lot of perspective issues as well, nature is always complex and pretty much anything is difficult in the end.

@ is there anyway you can view some of my work and then get back with me with your opinions on what may be my weaknesses ? I do work indirectly, but I also like to do wet into wet.
