The best I can do is say, with the song describing the end coming to an eternal day, and approaching rain blotting out a seemingly endless sunlight, it does encapsulate how Sumio is trapped in a purgatory-like endless precipice between the timeless time of vacation and urgent crisis, and how that perpetual liminal state between the stagnant holiday and urgency is grinding him down. But the way the sun shines only for him, and so does the rain cry, many of the details of what drives Sumio are lies to spur him along, there is neither true respite or urgency for a man like Sumio who is defined by the function he fulfills in his job. The holiday offers no respite, and the calamity doesn't truly threaten anybody. The conspiracy of the dreamlike reality is convoluted but ultimately it's just kind of a personal hell to be escaped for both Sumio and the player.

It'd really make my day if you could answer! Some months ago, i made a version of the original opening translated to brazilian portuguese, based on the past translated OP you posted (it's on my channel ^^). I'd greatly enjoy making the same to this one, now with the full song and music video! Some friends of mine have some trouble with english and i'd like them to be able to enjoy this! Is there a download link or something to get this upscale without the hard subs and youtube compression? Also, do you guys have the sub files or, really, a recommendation on the way to do the hard subs? In my video of the original opening, I did it with captions in Premiere! I'd imagine there could be a better way to go about it o: All in all, thank you very much! Greetings from Brazil! :)
