Enjoyed your video. I am in Central Nebraska zone 4-5. I made a new flowerbed with a solar lamp post and ordered 35 bulbs including hyacinth mix, pink charm daffodil, and tulip blend of queen of the night and "Rem's favorite". This is the first time I've planted bulbs. The weather turned nice and of course I came down with Covid. Talked two friends into planting the bulbs for me. It's now colder and expecting some snow tonight. I can't wait until spring 2021 to see how gorgeous they will be! Right now I really do need this to look forward too! Tulip🌷hyacinth🌸🙂

So very cool to watch this. I retired to NW Indiana after 50 years in So Cal. Four Seasons there are ho hum. Here, I love each of the four, as they each have different life to them! Spring is GLORIOUS! I love to watch the colors popup here, and they make my heart sing a new song! You are so right about what is inside being more important than the outside! Remember, God knows you intimately, and loves you. He knows your struggles, and your joy. I just love that he was, and is very creative. As I watch Storms coming in, and sunsets and sunrises, I marvel at what he lets us see! The joy of Autumn with the burst of color as he cleans out his palette of paint preparing for the white of winter that lets my ground recover, rejuvenate, and BURST forth with the color of Spring. Then, along comes Summer with her joy of harvesting. I enjoy your silly quirkiness, and need to go to your livesteam!

Can’t believe how fast you dug your trenches and planted all those tulips. I love bulbs as much if not more than seeds because I just put them in the ground and Mother Nature takes care of the rest while seeds require many more steps and attention. Thanks!

Same here! Bulbs are my favorite. It took me about 10 minutes in real time to dig each trench 💐

Oops have to pause the video again, another question.....do you have problems with rodents eating your tulip bulbs. The chipmunks and other rodents dug up all my crocuses and tulips. All summer long I found bulbs half eaten all over the yard hidden under plants. Grrrrrrrrr

I have not really had an issue. There was some damage in tulips I harvested but they still flowered! Perhaps because it is truly a field, the rodents have more food options? 🧑🌾🤗

Do you have to be a business to buy from Ednie Gloeckner?

Yes, you need a business identification number.

Straight up, the first person I have ever heard pronounce anemone correctly, lol. I don't know why, but when people say 'anenome' it drives me batty.

I always think of Nemo when I say it and have to force myself not to say it like a baby fish. 😂

Yeah but she keeps saying narcissists instead of narcissus. Big difference.

I’m pretty sure the narcissus are quite full of themselves 😂😜😆💐

great video! I am super jealous sitting in 87°F weather on Halloween still waiting for our first rain since Spring. Do you harvest the tulips with the bulb or leave the bulb in the ground for next year?
@FlowerHillFarm4 жыл бұрын
I do harvest the bulb as well. I started that halfway through tulip season this last spring and it made a huge difference in storage!
