Hallelujah amen, this feels like another extension of the book of proverbs, how wise and eye opening. All glory to God for such a masterpiece through the puritan Brothers and Charles Spurgeon. Charles Spurgeon, the author of this book, was about as much for salvation by faith as anybody ever was. Have you ever read All of Grace, by Spurgeon?

One thing that you have to understand is that although we are saved by faith, there's not a book in the Bible that doesn't talk about our need to also deny yourself, take up the cross, and follow Jesus. The apostle Paul and every one of his books also talks about what it means to be a Christian. Grace verse, works second. Works follow grace.
