In many of the videos, Adam discusses some concept and how it can be used to deal with a bigger and stronger opponent. I'd be really interested in seeing what concepts Chris should be aware of to take advantage of his size over a smaller, feistier opponent (dealing with someone who has short mans syndrome - you see this a lot in clubs with a bouncer facing off against guys with this type of attitude). In Kali, we have aspects of range and short slamming bursts that make use of strength or weight to overcome the frame or break through defenses.

I really like this channel. I work 3rd shift and I'm TRYING to learn jkd @cma up the road from my house. I'm not a big guy and I really would like to learn wing Chun too. I love watching Paul vunak videos but I believe I've watched all his stuff and just need a enthusiastic and willing lol training partner. What's your thoughts on training wing Chun on top of jkd? Should I train two arts at the same time?

Yep. Once your training becomes repetitive in a sense that is just trapping vs trapping, wing chun against wing chun then you're trapped in a box. When you give the guy a chance to keep reacting it goes back and forth, then you're just going back to chisao all over again. Which is important to train but we need more than that.

You guys better level up. Theres a new generation of really good kungfu guys and gals. The form fairies 🧚‍♂️ will become extinct. Instead of typing what you think you know, or bogus questions, get work. You will be very valuable in 2 years. Get to work
