Thank you flowmaster for bringing the stainless lines and cat's! I have enjoyed my orginal 40 series, later generation 40 series, flowmaster 10 series, and flowmaster outlaw mufflers. I just got a 80s series cross flow dual exhaust for my chevy hhr. and I'm loving the look and sound. I feel that it makes my car go faster tho.. the acceleration is harder than before yet it's smooth

I need HELP!!! Having exhaust work done on monday I already have the original 40 series 4.6 v8 1995 merc cougar ,getting true dual put on should i stay with the orig 40 series on there or go with the super 44?!??has some upgrades,cold air intake,throttle body and fuel injectors from a 5.0 cobra,sct racing chip ,some other things here and there"I CANT TELL ALL MY SECRETS" I want it to sound agressive and mean,it sounds great now,I just have some holes and crappy exhaust underneath and have to get it fixed..might as well get it true dual~! I have a 1994 gmc z71 with a 350 tbi.. just had to shop install a 3 inch exhuast cat back with the super 44..thing sounds mean...I can also notice a difference in power between 1500-2500 rpm

Hi I just installed a 40 series flow on my 2007 ram 5.7.. I do love it but the tone was not as deep as I thought it was going to be. If I replaced it with a super 44 would that give me a noticeable deeper tone?

Thank you for your support! The Super 44 muffler will provide a rich tone and is one of the most aggressive, deepest sounding mufflers that we carry. What you recommend me to I like the deep rumble sound but I also don’t want a super loud truck super 50 a little to close to stock on gm 6.0

If you're looking for a little rumble the 70 Series will get you an exhaust tone that will be more noticeable than stock. The Super 50 will be slightly more aggressive than the 70 Series, but still very tolerable. That 6.0L puts out a lot of air so if you don't want a very aggressive exhaust note than the Super 50 should be perfect. - Jason @ Flowmaster

Looking to get a flowmaster exhaust on my 2015 ford f150 5.0 v8 but can't decide between the 40 series or super 44. I want it to have a deep loud sound. Which one would you guys recommend?

Both are excellent options! The 40 Series will be slightly more aggressive, while the Super 44 will have a deeper more refined exhaust note. The 40 Series has less Delta Plates then the Super 44 does so you may get a bit of rasp from the 40 Series, while the additional Delta Plates in the Super 44 will get you more of a muscle car type exhaust note. i wonder what will be the best sound for my 2015 chrysler 200s v6. everyone is going with super 10 with stock resonator but a bit laud. i wonder if the super 44 or the super 40 with stock resonator will sound good?

I have a 92 ford explorer 4.0 v6 with stock cats and piping, just threw a super 44 on it...it sounds great, not crazy loud but definitely noticeable

Looking for a muffler to stick on my 2010 Grand Marquis, 4.6L 16v V8. I want to go for an assertive, raspy baritone sound, similar to a late 2000s AMG or an SRT. I'm not one for an obnoxiously loud, rattly sound, but I would still like something noisier than factory. One with less of the "hollow" sound would be nice, but that's not a real issue either way.

The Flowmaster FlowFX may be what you're looking for. Due to the straight-through design of the FlowFX, you should get a moderately aggressive exhaust note, similar to a sports car and not a muscle car. +Fermin Garcia I'd say super 44 too. I had an 82 c10 with a 305 with super 40 and it sounded damn good...but didn't quite do it for me. threw a super 44 and it was everything I wanted. Super 44 is definitely my favorite after hearing more than a few (flowmasters in general) in person and countless videos I've watched.

A smaller cased muffler like the Super 10 will produce a more aggressive tone than a larger muffler such as our 70 Series Big Block. Are you referring to our 70 Series Big Block? If so the dimensions are 28 inches overall (22 inches for the case ONLY), 10 inches wide and 5 inches thick.
