This is an EPIC video Marcus. I shared this with all my friends and on several waterski pages on Facebook. In our waterskiing club in Belgium (Mechelse Waterski Klub), we organise a 3 event waterski competition every year. We struggle to get people to come and watch the competition... This video is what we need. Ambassadors to get our sport back on the maps, back on TV. Thank you for this video.

This video gives me goosebumps, I remember late 80's early 90's waterskiing was huge. Just got myself a radar senate alloy recently and now teaching my young kids to ski and their friends, we need to make water sports big again

this was awesome. the first thing that comes to mind for the decline of viewership is the barriers to entry. the cost of a nice ski boat is extremely high for the "normal" family add on top of that the niche market for the skis. you have a smaller pool of people that understand how great waterskiing is because not many people have the opportunity to go waterskiing on a daily,weekly,monthly basis. i love waterskiing and hope the sport finds traction to grow but i feel like it is coined as a "luxury sport" because your everyday person can't easily get into it

I think it is a shame people dont know how HARD it is do do these things. It is bloody hard. and age keep me from some of that but I am still learning, everyski i learn... Not a sport for someone of the faint heart.

Marcus Brown? Is that you? This is Joe Hulsman, or "Joey" the Salmon Candy Kid. I skied with you and Jaime B. at Tate Lake in Eastern Wa. at your clinic in 2002. I recall ya loved the smoked salmon I made. Let me know if ya need some smoked products or seasoning; I just do it on the side for family/friends.l miss skiing ssoooo much!
