Like that Kerk maintains a nonchalant, plodding demeanor before, during and post match. No fist pumping or singlet stretching, just a cordial handshake and off the mat he goes.

I've always appreciated his businesslike demeanor.

@michaelmaloskyjr exactly, class act. Wish more guys followed that example in collegiate career. After that, if they want to make money by generating attention & "growing their brand" with some gimmicks or persona like Steveson, i get it. But learn to do it with class first - and not for appearances sake, either! I think it's been fairly well-established that it builds mental discipline and helps any athlete learn to compete to the best of their abilities every match, less dependent on where their emotions & confidence levels are at.

@@allphornunn let people act how they want to it brings different vibes to the sport. Everybody acting the same/ having the same personality is boring for the sport.

@@mzzsoldier25yearsago65 definitely see your point and agree it almost sounds life fascist wrestling from that perspective lmao. But I'm just saying I think it's not only good sportsmanship but also helps a wrestler build up mental discipline, too. don't need a degree in sports psychology to know how important that can be for an elite competitor if they progress to the top of the sport.
