DT has really started building something special right from the start. Be interesting to see what his first recruiting class looks like.

I think within the next 2 years they’ll be up there with penn state in competition. Look at what the coaching staff has done in a few months.

Everyone remember intermission is at 165. The only thing you might miss is an escape point. Be back for 174 and watch the score board light up.

@ @ scoreless 1st period. I bet any money Coach Taylor got on his ass about that. I mean look who he beat. If the rules didn’t change that match would’ve only been 6-2. Amine scoring 6 points, he probably thought he tech’d him. I just expect more out of a super senior. Next match he’ll probably get 2 points (2 escapes) which will only be two more than me sitting on the couch.

The most successful programs find ways to get cardio while having a little fun. This old mindset that wrestling has to be hell week all the time makes young people dread practice and look forward to the day it’s over…

How do these guys get so good at staying in stance a long time and being explosive? Just practicing over the years?

I can stay in stance for a long time too. But it’s because I’m 37 and I just get stuck there.

@kalebstuckey570 I feel that. Sometimes it seems harder to get out of a stance lol

32 and I can keep my stance a lot longer and in better position than most of my high school kids even though they’re in better shape. You just get used to be being more efficient in the stance
