I couldn't agree more. I love the anime but for me, the game is incomparably BETTER for so many reasons. When Tales of Zestiria was first released as a game, so many comments were saying it's the best Tales game for them- which is pretty normal since we all have our own preferences. But then that didn't last. I was shocked that fans of other Tales games can say Vesperia or Symphonia or Abyss is "the best" and get away with it while anyone who'd dare say Zestiria is the best is bombarded with insults from "self-entitled" anti-fans (fans of other Tales games) who act like they're "experts" in saying which game to "like" or "unlike"- and would even say something like "If you like Zestiria then you're NOT part of the community." But what bothers me even more is that these anti-fans are so aggressively immature they even take to reddit, twitter, and Tales Wiki (gosh... even Tales Wiki?) their "self-entitled" opinions that "Zestiria is so underwhelming that Tales of Berseria is treated as the anniversary game." That's BS. I don't care how Berseria competes with Zestiria but so far, the official sales say that Zestiria outsold Berseria in ALL regions.

Play the game my dude. The Zestiria anime butchered the story. As for what happens after sir and mikleo reunite though, that's just the end of the story. Or the end of Sir a story anyway. He will fade into Legend until the next Lord of Calamity is and the cycle starts over again.

Guys, if you love Sorey and Mikleo please like the AMVs of fans and put a comment. Don't bother to go to game reviews because that's Alisha (and Zesty haters) territory... and tbh, Alisha fanboys are trying to force a reboot of this game with Alisha being the alternative ending. The game is beautifully written, it leaves the audience/gamer to make his own conclusions... but Sorey and Mikleo even in the game have a happy ending. ^_^ There are spin off games where Sorey gets tainted (alternate universe). It's not canon so it's okay- but at least you get to see them in a different light. There's also the manga and the drama CDs. You can also try the orchestra music versions of the anime and the game soundtrack. They're all uploaded here in youtube. ^_^ PLEASE SUPPORT SOREY AND MIKLEO. Don't let them get separated! Kudos to Mr. Ryohei Kimura and Mr. Ryota Ohsaka who voiced Sorey and Mikleo as well! ^_^ To the Alisha fanatics... please stop with the fake controversy. It's ALL OVER... don't pull down this game, you've done enough. Just apologize and move on.
