Floyd's situation reminds me of 2pac when his passion and job as an entertainer suddenly began to merge with his real life. That's when he said "this is not supposed to be my real life". When your too good at being an entertainer, all it takes is a few real life situations that fit your persona for people to erase the person in favor of the persona, thus many forever view you as the persona you created. Of course after time goes by via death or retirement the magic of the persona wears off and people start to remember and explore the person. This is when the less intelligent will realized they have seen a rare talent.

This man is showing a genuine personal side of himself and still there are hecklers smh. He made a valid point about the exposure. Everyone can rely on the all seeing eye...the internet/social media to propel themselves into fame. Mayweather solidified himself simply not just by being a great boxer but what he's done with the business. There aren't boxers trying to fight like Pac man however we have many attempting to be the next Floyd. 7 in one room...bring his cars to motivate the fighters...psychologically you cannot deny this man his props. You can dislike him to each his own but the blueprint is something you cannot dismiss unless you are a ignorant bias individual.

He is a true businessman. He is just waiting for the nine digit numbers to grow then booom, he will announce the rematch. He knows that only him and PACQUIAO Can do that 9 digit numbers. The match up between them. Maybe the perfect time is when the Pac-Man bit his next opponent. Specially if it will be SPENCE OR GARCIA.

I love boxing and would be lying to say if I wasn't biased for Floyd. I've watched his all his pro fights and believe he was at a serious untouchable peak before even the fight with Oscar when he started fighting at WW, and even in 2007-2012 he was as sharp as a laser-cut knife for the weight and age he was choosing to fight at. And he still looked good in his older twilight years up to his fight with Manny but you could see some age coming into his fights. His amateur stuff is legend, being the first American olympian to actually beat a Cuban in boxing in over a decade, and got robbed and should've went on to fight the legendary Muay Thai boxing legend Somrak Khamsing in the '96 finals (which I think Floyd would've beaten as well). But I will give it to Manny. Floyd used to say a long time before the prospect of fighting Manny was a concern that Manny was a firey little dude in the ring, and you could spot him cheering Manny on in the stands in very early fights in Vegas when Manny was too light for Floyd to worry about. But make no mistake, Floyd for sure was concerned about Manny's southpaw and aggressive style. Manny's southpaw and aggressive style was extremely risky for Floyd's defense, which is much better suited to orthodox fighters. Floyd fought the way he did against Manny because really on paper, that is probably the only safe way to beat Pacquaio froom a philly shell defense. Floyd's a true master/former-student of the game, and he knows a bad stylistic match-up when he sees one.

Manny Pacquiao has been robbed of victories before and this ain't different. But no matter what he bounces back stronger, despite the corruption & greed that stink the 4 corners of the MGM grand. His real & most difficult fight is actually outside the ring. Someday he will rise so HIGH that no amount of dirty tactics & schemes will be able to pull him down. Someday he will become so BIG that you can't deny him anymore. Someday he will be GREATER than any other Legends. His Legacy lives on.

Hello Folks, I realize that many boxing fans really hate Floyd Mayweather. I for one have to give him credit for taking care of his family. Many sports stars don't have a good relationship with their families especially after they make it big. Floyd of course had his father, uncles Roger & Jeff in his corner over the years. He took care of his grandmother and the mothers of his four kids. I don't know if these stories are true but there are stories of both Larry Byrd & Karl Malone not having any type of relationship with a couple of their kids; again I don't know if this is true or not. Love or hate Floyd, he made millions of dollars without having major endorsements like Nike or McDonalds!!
@alexlevy3229 жыл бұрын
LOL at fairweather fans that don't get boxing vs brawling. You guys wanted Floyd to stand & trade with Pac like Kirkland did with Canelo but where did that get him? KOs are exciting but where's the skill in just punching each other until someone goes down? Tyson couldn't outbox Holyfield & it pi$sed him off so much he bit his ear off. Pac knew Floyd's style & should've brushed up on his boxing skills instead of hoping to get into a slugfest. All those wild punches against the ropes(with torn rotatator?) did no damage but thats what brawlers do. Checkers don't work in a chess match. You guys complaining about Floyd "running" all knew his style before the fight but are perfectly ok with Pac's "performance". Say what you will but a good boxer will beat a great brawler majority of the time.
