This is why intelligence trumps all the group-think dipshits who mistakenly think boxing means "street brawl with gloves on". One: Mayweather has the absolute best defense of all time. Not even a question. He doesn't have the best flat out power...pound for pound...and he isn't going to be noted for his formidable offense. It doesn't matter though. When you mix the combination of intelligence and defense...you can wear down the best offenses with precision and ease. Floyds defense works like waves of water. Each time you come in contact with it...it wears you down a little more every time. Pretty soon your great offense becomes a mediocre offense...and you're sitting there with an "L" and wondering what happened. Also...Floyd is going to be able to have sat on top for as long as he has....and still be able to speak full sentences in his 90's. As far as strategy....the only other person like him I've ever seen in any sport is Michael Jordan. Mayweather will get shit NOW...but wait until 10 years from now when everybody realizes just how much of a clinic this man put on for 20 straight years. Mayweather is a true genius. Most idiots will never realize it...but this man isn't at all what he seems. He did like Michael Jordan did...and made you believe what ever it was about him that he wanted you to.

Floyd won easy and that's why you guys think this fight was boring. Don't blame Floyd. You guys were the ones to hype up some PED fighter like Manny. When he got drug tested all that speed & power is suddenly nowhere to be found and all you find is excuses, excuses, excuses. Manny didn't take this fight seriously at all. He didn't take into consideration the level of elite Floyd Mayweather is. Floyd can fight you various ways and win. He can use lateral movement which is what many of his haters call running. Or he can demoralize you with his defense. After you realize you can't touch Mayweather you start to feel like a loser before the 12th round bell. This is what happened to Manny. Or Floyd can go toe to toe with you like he did Cotto or Maidana 1. Maidana 2 he decided to shut him out and use more lateral movement. Floyd has 6 or 7 levels Manny only has 1 or 2. The fight was a mismatch from the jump. Yes you all wasted your time and money on a fight that was one sided.

Im not here to comment on the boxing, cause obviously floyd got the win. But has anyone noticed the air of hypocrisy? Its like floyd trying to put on the good guy image and trying to match pacquiao's charm with the press but deep inside you can still see that floyd isnt being sincere. It's all a front. Pac's flurries that landed on the side of the body and face of Floyd should be also counted. Pacquiao won the fight. He landed more telling blows. Pac is also most of the time the aggressor. Floyd should be also penalize for his hugging/running. Past boxers was penelized before for this.

The difference between the preparation of this fight is considerable. Floyd's corner: Floyd Sr., Roger, Ariza, Rafael, Zab who he had around the whole training camp, and the other ex pro-boxers in his team. Pac's corner: A declining Freddie Roach and a whole lot of other people who is just there for leech off Manny. Those guys in Pac's corner knew nothing about boxing, and this is why he came into the fight like a blind duck. Pac coulda done a lot more, but for some reason Roach gave him the impression that hes winning.
