While Manny Pacquiao has more professional fights (62) than Floyd Mayweather (47) going into this fight, it was Mayweather who is the more experience boxer. Pacquiao never fought anyone who fights similar to Mayweather. A technician who nullifies your greatest assets and was as athletic as Pacquiao himself. Heck, he even never fought someone who use shoulder roll before. The closest to Mayweather's style that he fought is Juan Manuel Marquez who was also a slick defensive counter puncher like Floyd but had a complete different style of counter punching and defensive tactics and not even half as athletic as Mayweather. While Mayweather fought boxers that actually similar to Pacquiao, anm very athletic awkward aggressive power punching southpaw like Zab Judah and DeMarcus Corley.
