Can’t go wrong with either Fluance speakers or turntables. Top quality sound combined with beautiful looks.

Thank you for a great video. The sound from these speakers sounds very rich and good. I like it. Used my good headphones Sennheiser Momentum when I listened to your video. Fluance gives an very positive impression with their products. Wishing you all a wonderful day.

I have a complete 5.1 set of Fluance speakers for my Yamaha RX-V496 surround sound receiver and they sound amazing; but I have to mention the Subwoofer is fantastic (powers up automatically via single RCA jack or high powered speaker cables -yes it does both). Andrew made a comment about Subwoofers that I agree with: they are designed to extend the lower frequency of the main speakers, especially bookshelves; they are not supposed to be boomy but if tuned right, will blend in and make the main speakers sound bigger.

I actually like cloth snap on speaker grills. Makes them kid friendly , i.e. safe from probing little fingers. Three choices of input is good. You need the remote to dim those bright LEDs. Nice warm sound.

Excellent ,Excellent Excellent!!!!! the sound is great I loved how the bongos came out pretty true to sound cause I play the bongos I loved it!!!!! the bass sounded fine I like bass but not overpowering it has to sound natural ,to me it sounded just like that ,imagine how better it would sound in real life WOW!!!! and I like that it has a connection for a sub woofer which I like if you hook it up to a sub woofer the midrange will sound even better you will get more clarity and the subwoofer would take on the low bass and the rest of your speakers would not get overworked I love these speakers !!!!! PERIOD! another GREAT review from the master Record-o-logist way to Go WOO HOO!!! JRo

LIKE number 5 and that's no jive. Fluance makes great turntables and speakers that not only sound great to the ears, but are very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes too. It's a great Canadian company based in Niagara Falls, Ontario making a splash in the audio world. :)

Once the speakers get broken in (anything that has a mechanical moving parts--speakers and cartridges/styli--must be broken in, I believe) they are even going to sound even better. Incidentally, your microphones remind me of the squirrel tails that we had on our bicycles back in the day!

Good video, these look like really nice speakers to accommodate any Fluance turntable.

Never used powered speakers before, but these seem pretty good ( compression notwithstanding). Good to see you are building up your separates again.

Great for somebody who wants speakers of this type and may need to save space without the need of a separate amplifer. Not for me though. I think I will stick to the old fashion way of using wired speakers connecting to the amplifer.

The speakers look nice. However, I'm a little concerned about DSP enhanced remark to the frequency range in the specs. It sounds like a tech that is used in those modern barrel or box type one piece BT speakers to get more of "bass", which have nothing even remotely common with analogue vinyl sound reproduction. Can this DSP be turned off? As to spdif (optical) in, it's rather for connecting the speakers to a computer instead of listening to usually pretty bad sound of the computer integrated analogue output through the speakers' RCA input. If you have a decent CD player or other digital source component, the DAC in it is probably significantly better than the one in these speakers.

The thing with having no grilles is that small children are tempted to push in the center dust caps on the drivers. You'll see speakers with them damaged all over eBay.

It makes me think that if you couldn't demonstrate the sound via direct feed, you might use those Fluance speakers, as well as that stereo mic.

What about an Optical cartridge then you need an interface box that goes between the turntable and the phono input on your amplifier to inject 5V into the phono cable to power the Optical cartridge.

I'm just the opposite of you, I don't like open speakers with no grills. I feel they're more apt to be dust catchers and there's more danger of cone damage -- especially if you have cats.
