Sugizo is a Japanese guitarist and one of the biggest guitarist here in Japan, so that was super funny you said Swedish power metal band hahaha. You do not need his personal permission to get models made, you can order Sugizo custom models here no problem, maybe there was something confused in translation? If you ask ESP Shibuya they should be able to do it no problem, you could even order the same shape but with your own specs.

You can probably also try a BIG BOSS for ordering a custom one. The one in Ochanomizu is very good.

@@RudyLange yep, any ESP shop will be able to handle any custom order quickly. The Shibuya guys are the ones who deal with local artists directly the most though, even have Luna Sea's ESP guitar tech guy in there almost all the days out of the week. Anyone can order a RD body custom, Dir En Grey's bassist has an RD body bass too if I remember correctly.

If the person who carved the guitar would hone his craft, as they clearly have potential, and stick to one theme and keep it pretty minimalist, they could probably get that kind of money or more. They should also learn about trademark laws. It's a one-off fan art thing so it's probably fine, but there are all kinds of issues if this was a for-profit thing,

Yeah, the diddley bow predates the djent stick by decades. It's just kindof a generic name for a homemade 1-string instrument. It would be more accurate to say the djent stick is a diddley bow. Les Claypool plays a more sophisticated version in Fearless Flying Frog Brigade.

in Lakewood Washington circa around 2010-ish there was this Coffee shop that had my shyt. Yit was a large dark roast Ethiopian with raw espresso shots. Ever had raw espresso?( if no _ raw espresso is where they don't roast the beans so there's more caffeine. Heat destroys caffeine so lighter roasts actually have mo'E¡ caffeine.

B. C. Rich used to do a (horribly named) Perfect 10 Bich, which was a six string with an additional 4 strings, to wait for it, make it a 10 string (hence the "Perfect 10" misogyny tie in, see what they did there?) So that Gibson Explorer is not even close to an original idea, but unique to that form factor.
