Lisa del Giocondo is the woman widely believed to be painted in the Mona Lisa portrait in 1500s. There are no records of her playing guitar or music of any kind but By all accounts she was a loving faithful wife and described as having a “noble spirit”. This combined with a seemingly flippant expression of disinterest in appearing for the portrait displays her with a punk rock spirit. Therefore I think it’s safe to assume that Mona Lisa did in fact Rock

Pelham (pronounced Pell-hum) blue appears to turn green over time because the nitro turns yellow, so it makes the blue appear green. If there was no nitro finish, it would be blue underneath, the light passes through the yellow finish and the colors appear to mix.

I created the Gibson ATG-82 as a college project in 2002. It was pretty much exactly what Gibson ended up created. Could’ve told you then automatic tuning guitars were not the future lol.

Pelham Blue does turn green over time. Pretty obvious when thought about, but nitro clear coat yellows in sunlight or in a smoky environment. Put a yellow "filter" over blue and...bingo. This is what Gibson/Epi is mimicking in their "Inverness Green" guitars. Inverness Green is just aged Pelham Blue. Anyway, keep doing what you're doing. Love it.

LOL It's funny you mention insuring that Abby Road console because a few months ago, the company I work for recently had a $2m-3m shipment of networking equipment sent out, and FedEx wouldn't insure the whole thing, They covered it to a certain point. Sorry I don't have all the details but I had the conversation about it this week, so I thought it was funny to see someone else mention a $2m+ shipping scenario.

But on the Mona Lisa guitar I think the "Jesus" on the side is actually supposed to be from Botticelli's "Birth of Venus" - I don't know how that's supposed to fit into the da Vinci motif though; unless the motif is actually Florentine artists from the late 1400s. No Rosso Fiorentino though? Even van Halen used a meme of the "Cherub with the Lute" smoking cigarettes.
