You are spot on! My ex was diagnosed as a sociopath during our divorce. They would come into the room and make all kinds of noise, turning on ALL the lights shortly after I went to sleep, changing everything they could; lights on or off, window or blinds open or closed, closet open or closed, ceiling fan, bathroom lights…everything. If I asked them to change it back to the way it was before they came in they gaslighted me, saying they didn’t change anything, calling me crazy. If they wanted sex there was no way to avoid it, they forced it upon me and then the next day called it beautiful and romantic, groping me inappropriately in front of the kids and when I protested telling me how important it was for the kids to see that wet love each othe. I never felt like I was actually part of it, just there to perform a function. If I ever initiated physical contact I was shamed and called vulgar names. When they actually slept in the bedroom they would take ALL the covers, leave me about 24 inches of the king sized bed, and cuss me out and call me vulgar names if I asked them to move over. Sleep and sexual intimacy were so horrifically weaponized, it’s ridiculous
