I decided while I was watching this episode that I am definitely going to make one of the crochet bags on our upcoming family vacation. It’s really fun to hear about how you are coordinating your sewing and knitting makes. I’m still new to sewing and figuring out what I like so I’m not quite there yet. I love that you’ve gotten so much wear out of your lovely blue dress. As for language, I don’t speak French at all so I would appreciate you continuing in English but maybe if you do switch I will learn some French through your videos! It was great to see a podcast from you. I always love seeing your handmade garments because they are absolutely beautiful and carefully crafted. I usually don’t knit many summer garments because I don’t like knitting with cotton or linen, but I recently started a summer top (Anna Tee by Sara Stark) in Knitting for Olive silk. I haven’t knit with silk before and it’s quite nice. I’m anxious to finish and wash it. Happy Summer and making.

Thank you for your comment! Yes, silk can hit just the sweet spot when you don't enjoy the feel of cotton or linen, but want a fibre that is more appropriate to warm weather than wool. I had a look at the Anna Tee - such a polished design! Happy knitting! 🧶

I would love for you to stay in English. There are so many English podcasts out there but your’s is one I follow faithfully. Love your style and the introduction to French yarn and designers but what I truly appreciate the most is your added insight on your projects be it the cost of yarn, the environmental impact or how to create a wardrobe that actually works together in all aspects. While I would never be able to podcast I don’t know what language I would chose so I understand the thought. If you do go to French guess just need to keep up the pace on duolingo and perhaps in a few years I can follow just like all the sewing I have learned even if I don’t sew (yet) 😀. Hello Karyn - thank you for your kindness and for sharing constructive feedback! KZbin offers automatic captioning on any video, which of course has its limitations. Manual captioning takes an incredible amount of time - I don't think it would take less than filming in both languages. In any case, your feedback is most useful 🌼

If it's possible to put subtitles, could you perhaps alternate with English and French videos? I think my only two French knitting words are laine and tricot. I can't think of any sewing ones at the moment.
