Im in love with the Madoka Magica transfomations since I feel it really shows the hardships and personal ambitions that young girls have. I watched Madoka when I was 12 and I STILL wanted to become a magical girl even after seeing the fate of each character. Really shows the power and innocence that every girl possesses at their age and their high hopes for the future. I wanted to wield a sword with a cute dress and be powerful no matter what. I felt like I would be invincible and wouldn't end up with emotional barrage like them. Turns out I iust had to wait my turn.

I'm remaking this comment because I didn't like how it was before. Okay so for the ones who keep on yelling and arguing in the comments about "Oh this is called Glitter Force not Smile Precure" and the ones who are like "It's Smile Precure, Glitter is the dub" read this comment and you'll know everything. Smile Precure aired in 2012 in Japan. It is an anime in Pretty Cure franchise that begun in 2004 it is the 8th Pretty Cure season. In 2015, Saban decided to give it an English dub were it would be renamed "Glitter Force" (no that doesn't mean it's now forever called Glitter Force, they cannot rename a show they don't own) the series was dubbed completely into an English. As well as parts of the show be edited/cut out. 1. Brightness and contrast: Many scenes were considered to bright for kids. They would darken scenes up so that the viewers wouldn't have eye seizures. 2. Content: The first thing they did was cut out any emotional/violent scenes to make sure people don't get emotional when a crying scene or sad moment is playing. Or to make everything less brutal looking. The second thing they cut was all the traditional Japanese culture and themes seen and used throughout the show. Now I wouldn't say it's "racist" but they just wanted the show to seem more Americanized, exactly why they cut/edit a bunch of scenes. 3. Names: As a lot of other animes dubs would do. They always change most names. Examples are: Hoshizora Miyuki (Cure Happy) - Emily (Glitter Lucky) Hino Akane (Cure Sunny) - Kelsey (Glitter Sunny) Royal Kingdom - Jubiland 8 episodes were cut as well as an undubbed movie. There was also Glitter Force Doki Doki, Doki Doki Precure's dub which had a few combined episodes, 19 cuts epsiodes, and an undubbed. 19 epsiodes cut is a lot so it's another reason why people are hating on GFDD more than GFS (im just adding smile in to the original Glitter Force to not confuse). After Saban finished dubbed DDPC, they actually planned on dubbed Puella Magi/Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica as well as renaming it (I'm not sure what the name was) but Hasbro wouldn't let them do it. From now then, Hasbro now own Glitter Force, while Saban was sued by Toei. His company is now closed.

Precure series has the best transformation sequence in my opinion. They have awesome background music rather than showing off fan services like powerpuff girls and yall forgot miraculous ladybug where marinette yells 'TIKKI SPOTS ON HA'

ojamajo doremi is the cute witch sub-type of magical girl anime and those magical girls are so kawaii. ojamajo doremi is basically the predecessor to the pretty cure franchise. all magical girls are kawaii,especially the pretty cure franchise. my favorite cure form the franchise is cure amour. at the time of the video,it would've been cure scarlet,the most recent cure at the time.

the precure one was a great show but had some stupid american knockoff on netflix called “glitter force” in 2017. WHAT KIND OF SHOW NAME IS THAT? *sigh* anyways…i used to think that the show was original, because what stupid me back then said “whatever i see first, i know that’s the original, and if i see the same thing next, it’s a copy! >:(“

I’m really happy you included Cure happy in this. Though I’ve never watched the original version I watched the English dub / horribly butchered train wreck called Glitter Force over here in the west, and as my first anime (not counting Pokémon, which I still watched occasionally but wasn’t the huge fan I am now at the time) and the show to get me into magical girls (not counting sailor moon because I didn’t realize she was from a show or manga, I read novelizations of anime episodes in school and I always thought she was just a superhero til I learned about the magical girl genre), so smile precure means a lot to me
