I have some memories of me as a kid going into the dream home and participating in the Peter Pan show, I honestly thought those memories were a fever dream until this video

FM7 Studios you forgot to mention at the end of this video, and I quite get it of why innoventions doesn't exist anymore. Innoventions it's because for years and years, starting with Walt Disney himself. He really wanted the whole area of Tomorrowland to showcase an optimistic future, with a lot of things that he believed might someday serve and change the lives of everybody throughout America and perhaps around the world. One of them includes space travel for space exploration, space tourism and commuters in space. But mainly he wanted space travel to have the means and peaceful purposes of space tourism with spaceflight tours to the Moon and even to Mars. Where lots of people can travel into outer space with special attraction tours to orbit around the moon, and he even hope for the red planet mars. In the original design of Tomorrowland at Disneyland Walt thought it was more science fiction looking than actual fact. For myself and for a few other people, Tomorrowland in the early days of Disneyland looked like a science center campus or headquarters. The other half of the early days of Tomorrowland looked like a space center, science fiction type. And not to mention the Monsanto House of the future was way ahead of its time in the early days of Tomorrowland, but I should say it provided inspiration for a few people out there to make modern-looking and art style houses. With futuristic artwork and style. However when the 1960s came along technology of that time and shopping malls becoming one of the modern and contemporary special attraction in almost every locations, throughout America and around the world. Walt had been inspired by all of that, and he decided he wanted Tomorrowland to change into that style. So that everything throughout the modern 1960s can catch up and be showcased at Disneyland's Tomorrowland. So Walt Disney and the imagineers started planning and dreaming up a brand new Tomorrowland to look like a clean and Space age optimistic contemporary future. And around the same time NASA that started at some point in the late 1950s was growing, because even though they had facilities and testing grounds at Vandenberg Air Force base, Edwards Air Force Base and White sands New mexico with successful real rockets that they have launched. Such as the V2 rocket and the atlas rockets, they started to have permanent locations of Space Center at Houston Texas, Alabama and Cape Canaveral Florida. Which became the Rocket Center in Alabama, the Johnson Space Center at Houston Texas. But the biggest Space Center that NASA is still in charge today and bigger than the other two locations, is the Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral Florida. Also NASA is no stranger to Disney, Walt Disney had been fascinated with outer space as well. Starting with Jules Verne's book from the Earth to the Moon to the books written buy Dr Werner Von Braun, and of course the man himself. The former rocket engineer and scientist himself, who just like Walt Disney head visions of spaceflight with space travel, space tourism, space commuters, space communities and space exploration. Dr Werner Von Braun had dreams and visions of outer space. And a very optimistic future for outer space as well. And Dr Werner Von Braun was one of the co-founders of NASA. The national aeronautics space administration. And because NASA had brand new rockets, they were progressing and growing with brand new technology, and brand new powerful and bigger rockets. Walt Disney thought it was a natural to fit those modernized rockets that NASA was using, designing and putting into realities at the time. To be showcased and to update the former rocket to the moon attraction with brand new things and so forth, based on everything of what NASA was doing and using. So it was updated and became flight to the moon, which lasted from 1967 to 1974. Until it was changed into Mission to Mars in 1975, and closed permanently in 1992. All of that that was showcased in the former space tourism attraction and for the rest of Tomorrowland, with the clean optimistic contemporary and Space age future. Along with the addition of Space Mountain which opened at Disneyland in 1977, because Space Mountain was meant to be part ofall of that style in Tomorrowland since the late 1960s, Created by former Disney imagineer John Hench. All of that lasted until all of it got outdated in the 1980s and early 1990s. Because Tomorrowland showcase almost everything that literally became today, or in this case became a reality in the modern world. So it was very hard for Walt Disney imagineering to cope that some or almost all of those ideas became a reality for the modern real world, so they had to once again create a brand new Tomorrowland for Disneyland. And with the success of Captain EO and Star Tours, afterwards they realize they needed to create new attractions and so forth completely in timeless science fiction. They did get to work on what was supposed to be the Tomorrowland 2055 project, but it never came about. Because of the bummed opening of Disneyland Paris in 1992. That really took a toll on the Tomorrowland 2055 project, which never became a reality to make Tomorrowland timeless. Luckily Tomorrowland at the Magic ingdom in Walt Disney World received a complete Intergalactic science fiction makeover, and in 1998 Tomorrowland at Disneyland reopen in a cheap style. With unattractive tan, brown, copper, gold, and bronze colors. And they replace the beloved peoplemover attraction with the rocket rods, that eventually break down multiple times. And the rocket rods became a disaster and failure for the all new Tomorrowland. Innoventions became a successful xzibit expo facility attraction, something very fun that kids and families all together had done inside the attraction. And some of the imagineers wanted to showcase an attraction to house all of the optimistic technology, and brand new things at the time all together. Instead of showcasing those ideas from one attraction to the other, which Tomorrowland had done previously. Because originally Tomorrowland was more of a expo showcase area of Disneyland, but years later when everything becomes a reality for modern time and the real world. Disney imagineers wanted to have Tomorrowland permanently with science fiction attractions and so forth. So it wouldn't be a expo showcase area anymore. So luckily with the success of Innoventions from Epcot in Walt Disney World in Florida, that attraction became the perfect idea to showcase technology, new ideas and so forth all in one. And all together in a permanent attraction. But the truth is even though Innoventions try hard to permanently showcase new things and so forth, once again and deja vu. All of it became a reality for modern time and the real world. And everybody at Walt Disney imagineering realized that they couldn't showcase progressing technology, and other things that become today so easily and fast. For modern time and the real world. So Innoventions what's fun while it lasted, I know lots of kids and families at the time enjoyed all of that back then. But today they're using all of that technology and other things that became a reality, I'm sure you used to have fun with all of that back then as well. And one of my favorites in the attraction was talking to Stitch from Lilo & Stitch on a monitor, equipped with a phone receiver. I don't know if you've done that back in the 2000s inside the attraction. But I really miss that Disney character and technological interaction. And I still wish it would be in Disneyland Tomorrowland, in a different attraction. Now that Innoventions is gone. I wish you could have talked about all of this for this video, mainly at the end of this video. As a good example of what Tomorrowland used to be and the real reason why innoventions is no longer in existence

Destroying the building for something else would be destroying history so they should probably make a new carousel show or maybe even remake the carousel of progress

Still to this day, I'm hoping they will repurpose that building into a new attraction. Bring it back as the Carrousel Theater but with a brand new show. One that's just as memorable as the Carrousel of Progress and just as entertaining as America Sings. I don't care if it's IP-based or not, just as long as it meets all that criteria, I'll be happy with it.
