Seit März 2011 gibt es am Frankfurter Flughafen wieder eine Besucherterrasse. Sie ist tagsüber zwischen 10h und 18h geöffnet und bietet vom Terminal 2 einen Blick auf das Vorfeld. Je nach Landerichtung, entweder Piste 25 oder Piste 07, können von der Besucherterrasse aus startendende und landende Flugzeuge gefilmt und fotografiert werden. In diesem Videofilm sind zahlreiche Flugzeuge in ihrer Parkposition auf dem Vorfeld zu sehen; zusätzlich wurde als Ton der Volmet Frankfurt Wetterbericht über Flugfunk aufgezeichnet.
Spotting at Frankfurt International Airport, August 2011. In this video, you will see a large selection of aircraft arriving at Frankfurt Airport. The camera was mounted on the visitors terrace. Watching the whole traffic on airport ramp respectively apron, sometimes even take off and landing on runway 07 or runway 25. Spotting at aircrafts like Boeing and Airbus from Vietnam Airlines, Spanair, Lufthansa, British Airways, United Airlines, Gulf Air, Lufthansa Regional Jet, Scandinavian, Cathay Pacafic Jumbo, Delta Airlines and Alitalia. Listening to aeronautical radio and volmet weather forecast.

Ich liebe es, wenn die Piloten & Fluglotsen im Funk so schnell reden ;D Außerdem finde ich die Qualität, obwohl sie nicht gut ist, einfach genial! :D Also das Rauschen und so hat einfach eine unglaubliche Atmosphäre!

Die beste Stelle ist ist 12:39 mal vor das Flugzeug gucken:))Ein Fuchs geht ganz ruhig vor dem Flugzeug vorbei:))

Standort war der sogenannte Spotter-Point am Luftbrücken-Denkmal, d.h. direkt zwischen Rollfeld und Autobahn.
