Thanks for the video. I got my fill about half way in, then skipped. Loved all the different aircraft, and the different approaches. Ex private pilot myself, and so I do not mind wasing a little time watching vids of landings and take offs - and I think you put out a great video for that. Happy New Year.

Great footage! I was there a few years ago ,waiting for my sister to arrive.and take a photo of her plane as it landed.I still have the tyre marks on my head to prove it. What a scare I got. Great place to watch though. We First went to Skiathos when the departure lounge was the Taverna next door and passport control was a desk behind a fence where the locals came and went to buy their duty frees ,fantastic.

I am Greek living in Thessaloniki just 170km north of Skiathos and I had no idea about this Airport! I am a huge St. Maarten geek! I have seen every video and I always said I would like to go on vacation there just to see the airplanes.. I feel so embarrassed. The only time I visited Skiathos was in the middle of the night when our ferry made a waypoint stop there and some people got off. It was night though and I couldnt see the runway! Nice vid!

I was skeptical when I saw the reference to this airport as the '2nd St. Maarten', but this is very impressive! Even without the wide body jets, it would be very entertaining to spend some time there in person. Thanks for the great video!

Hey Jimmy! Awesome video! Didn't manage to watch the whole thing, but the 35 minutes I watched were great! Amazing video quality, very clear picture and awesome camera panning! Just a tip! If you want even more amazing quality, get a external microphone! If your camera has a Mic-Input, I suggest you taking the Rode Videomic with the Deadcat to avoid this wind sound! But I really enjoyed the video! Amazing work! Keep these vids coming! ( Thrilos Olympiakos ) ;)

Thanks for helping me to understand all this better. I have just started watching and feeling the thrill of landings and take off's since I saw some videos on "Fence surfing" in St. Maarteen. I love to watch, I am terrified to be in the seat traveling to get there. Cannot wait till land, cannot wait to take off to get it over with. I think that comes with being clausterphobic.

Nice visuals.This video deals with plane spotting, so, I would say that it would have been very helpful if just a brief name tag of the plane could have been displayed during landing or take off. That way we all could learn something.
