Abwechslung muss sein, das Deutsche Museum in München mit seinen Außenstellen ist ja nie verkehrt als Ausflugsziel :)

Thanks man, unfortunately no Draken there! But they had some display cases with models as well with all the Swedish stuff you can ask for, starting with the Tunnan, Draken, the Viggen and Gripen.

Nice! Ich wusste gar nicht, dass Schleißheim einen Flugplatz hat - ich kenne nur das Schloß (dahin hat mich als Kind meine Oma öfters mitgenommen, ihre Schwestern wohnten in Unter-Schleißheim).

Man lernt nie aus! Tatsächlich ist der Flugplatz mit Museum direkt neben dem Schloss, du warst also schon sehr nahe dran :)

very interesting museum I was there a few times in the last years. Only one thing I think that would add a lot to the museum: some experimental German aircrafts from WWII.... even if as replicas or models. Germany has a lot of interesting developments in 1942-1945.... But anyway it is a very good and interesting museum

Cheers mate! The WW2 section is small, but they keep a Me 262 in the main building of the Museum in Munich, as well as a few other famous pieces.

@@HamilkarBarkasScaleModelling yes. The Me262 stays in city center. I miss some other aircrafts
