I do a little capacitor testing demonstration showing how they work doing that. Both meters work, but the fluke is just better!

Been using the 116 for close to 20 yrs and it still works great! Great meter and is always my go to

I do HVAC myself also. Been using a Fluke 113 for about 10 years and they sure are great for checking capacitors and all other trouble shooting.

Yea man I’ve used meters from all the brands out there over the years, and nothing touches the Fluke in my opinion.

I believe if you hit select button for what you’re testing it takes it out of auto and you won’t have that delay

You are absolute right. Sorry I hadn’t responded until now. I just got around to trying that. I never knew you could manually select what to test. It does make it a lot less finicky when you do that.
@jumper2332 жыл бұрын
@@realworldtoolreviews no worries about the response time,it’s all good. Glad I could help out. Thank you

Lol, learn to use your meter. Also using the lowest based model. Yes flukes are nice but I will not carry 2 multimeters cause I actually use amps everyday. Never had an issue with my fieldpiece.

@simonbelmont548 I have 3 different meters all clamp style. I don't own the fluke but I've borrowed a coworkers Fluke meter, and I don't know there's just something about it that I like a lot more than my others. Have a UEI a testo 770-3 and fieldpiece.

You need to press the range button 3 time for capacitances reading dude

Fieldpiece is okay I guess. I've owned a few tools made by them. But they don't seem to hold up as well as Fluke. Over the years all my Fieldpiece tools have wore out but the Fluke tools are still working.
@realworldtoolreviews Жыл бұрын
Yea same here. I think fieldpiece makes a good meter, but they just don’t hold up like the Flukes, and I also trust the readings I get from the Fluke more. They jump around less and just work every time.

Si no le gusta no lo use yo tengo uno de lo que llamas barato y me salió mejor que el fukle

The fluke is bad for temperature tho… i feel the FP is more reliable there. Just grabbed the 116/323 combo kit. Happy with what you get for the price.
@realworldtoolreviews Жыл бұрын
Yea that’s how I got my 116 was that same kit. It is a really great set for the price. I love both meters that it comes with. The 323 is such a good simple meter. I haven’t had any problem with the temp on the fluke, but I don’t use the temp feature that much on those meters so it’s hard for me to tell the difference between the two.
@mannyfresh8504 Жыл бұрын
@@realworldtoolreviews agree with the simplicity of the fluke. Also the small things like being able to disable auto/off and auto/off with the Light. Definitely a more pleasant purchase

You can’t beat a Fluke. Makes my day easier.

Same here. When you use it every day, it really makes a difference!

My fieldpiece is right away no delay at all you have a faulty meter

You are not doing a fair comparison here. These two meters are not anywhere close in comparison. I've done HVAC for 40 plus years, starting out on a Simpson 260. I still have it, and it still works perfectly! I also have the Fluke 179, which does not work, and it's less than 8 years old. Put your 116 up to Fields LT17A, These are both fine meters.

1st the guy compares the lowest end of Fieldpiece range meter to higher end of Fluke, like comparing S class Merc to cheapest BMW. Then he doesn't even know how to use the Fieldpiece properly and calls it a bad tool, review done. What a joke.
