My Dad died earlier this year. we were close, it was traumatising and a horrific moment in my life. One night shortly after his death, I jumped in my car and went for a drive. Along the lonely roads in the dead of the night, I had this tune blaring. Singing to myself with tears in my eyes at a hard point of my life, I forgot about my troubles for 3 minutes. Those 3 minutes were calm in an otherwise rough ocean. I will never forget the way this amazing tune made me feel during such a turbulent chapter. Beautiful song.

my little sister was on the phone with me today during her lunch as a fellow student commit ss and she’s been torn apart by it all day. we live in different states currently and we’ve always been close, it’s hurt me to be so far from her, she’s at her limit recently and I can’t physically be there for her right now. our parents can be kinda harsh and not always understanding. it makes me cry knowing it was like that for me growing up too and I fought suicidal thoughts every day up until being an adult. she helped me through it but it still hurts sometimes. i never want her to see those things. I pray she knows I love her and i pray that child Rest In Peace. im coming back to this song as I’m making her a playlist for her to cry to and just breathe. it brought me a bit of peace and relief, getting to cry things away. everybody deserves to be heard and not bottle things up. everybody deserves a voice everybody deserves somebody. if you’re struggling tonight, i see you and you can reach out. let’s not lose ourselves and let’s not lose the kids around us either 💜

And I take it all at a loss Breathe in sorrow Gonna watch you fake it now Will I freak, can I come down? And I take it all at a loss Breathe out sorrow [Verse 3: Chet Faker] Gonna find them peaks and lows Holding by the knees and vow I can't always feel this proud Breathe out sorrow Oh, I tell you something more What my brain is bleeding for And it hurts, my darling But breathe out sorrow Gonna find them peaks and lows Holding by the knees and vow I can't always feel this proud Breathe out sorrow Oh, I tell you something more What my brain is bleeding for And it hurts, my darling But I breathe out sorrow
