The use of structure blocks in your tutorial is just perfect! Hopefully your bedrock viewers can find my take on it useful!

a word of warning. the "at least 12 blocks to ensure the staircase doesnt move" thing isnt true anymore. i built this build into the dirt beneath me and it pushed over at least 30 blocks, including the staircase itself, and proceeded to break itself into pieces in a reoccurring loop of pistons being shoved every which way. *use obsidian* edit: this build is no longer functional. followed the tutorial block by block three times over now and it just pushes pistons in a circle.
@RexxStone Жыл бұрын
Hey, sorry to hear you're running into problems like that! It still works for me, have you tried it in the world download? Maybe you had a block somewhere within your 12 blocks that breaks when pushed by pistons? It's also impossible for pistons to move 30 blocks, unless you're running some sort of modifcation that messes with the push limit.

@@RexxStone now that I’ve sat back for a solid few minutes and I’m not pissed off at it, I’m confused as to why it won’t work on my realm. I’ve built it exactly block by block but for some reason the pistons just push themselves in a circle (or cube). Now that I think about it, It’s possible it’s not working because of the insane tik speed lag we have due to the other massive builds on the server.
@RexxStone Жыл бұрын
Hmm... the tick speed should only affect the speed at which it works, not the reliability. Not exactly sure what's going on there D:
