It truly Is an underrated masterpiece and besides; If Chicken Rin can make a long awaited comeback, I don't see why not this movie as well deserving of a long awaited sequel.

Well Chicken Run is one of, if not the best DreamWorks movies. This is definitely one of my top 10 but don't compare it to Chicken Run. This is for a different audience than Chicken Run, this is more for kids.

Hey!! This is Lucy here aka the organizer for an reanimated collab that is based off this movie. This movie imo honestly was a banger in my childhood and it still is! I consistently watched it with my friends and was OBSESSED with it for a while now! Absolutely loved the main characters, the henchrats & who can't forget the french frogs in the movie. Le Frog being my favourite overall. I started working on sorting my reanimated collab since November last year in which I didn't know whether or not It was going to be successful but it was! A ton of people joined in the collab and even asked for more scenes and were keeping on track, honestly amazing how this is especially my very first time hosting a reanimated collab. I met alot of new friends along the way and It was just a fantastic time checking everyone's scenes which was super exciting since I'm looking forward to their final products. Flushed Away is so special to me and to my heart and honestly of the most underrated Dreamworks/Aardman movies out there, not many people talk about it which is quite sad but I'm glad you reviewed this absolute gem of a film! I thank you so much for reviewing this since this is one of the first few proper flushed away reviews I've seen and that it's getting alot of recognition now that I'm also hosting a collab based of the film. I absolutely appreciate your review and your videos, keep up the good work and take care :) 💖👍 The team behind the movie are super awesome

People don't realize this movie is also based off a book, and it's also a DreamWorks film. Compared to most of the DreamWorks movies from the time, this one of the better ones. The designs for the rats do bother me a bit, considering how there's humans that exist in their world, it feels a bit weird that they made the rats look so human. When they're in the rat world in the sewers, it looks fine. The art style and concept is cute, it's just the designs on their own. One thing we can all agree on is that Rita is an absolute ICON and we need more tough girls like her, who can be tough and feisty but also have a soft side too.
@margogoralski62943 ай бұрын
Very much so agreed with your take on the film. I had rewatched it awhile ago, and I was finding myself tickled and amused by its humor again and again. I really respect Aardman a lot for their craft, and while this isn't my favorite work from them (Arthur Christmas might hold that spot), its still a very fun time.

Honestly. Flushed away is such SUCH SUCH a underrated masterpiece that the dreamworks films that are actually really good on my top 5 don’t compare to it. This is my top dreamworks film. Period. This is a film, I can watch, 10000 times or more and never get bored of it. This movie leaves a impression on the viewer. Everything about it is perfected. I cannot think of one other film that can live up to its genius. Ok maybe 1 or 2 came DESPERATELY close but even so, it’s a tricky act for those films to follow, THATS how genuinely good this movie is and forever will be. It’s shame it’s a forgotten relic in Dreamworks’ library

I grew up watching Flushed Away, and I quite enjoyed it. About one year ago, my brother and I rewatched it together, and it was just as fun as we remembered it to be. If I had to pick a favorite character, it would either be Spike or Le Frog. Spike because of the voice Andy Serkis pulls off, and Le Frog because I learned a few things in French thanks to Jean Reno for providing his voice. Besides that, I still really like this movie.

This was a movie I passed on _hard_ when it was new, same with Over the Hedge. Partly from bad experiences with the likes of Shark Tale, partly from bad promo material focusing on gross out humor when both movies actually are full of very good _character and dialog_ humor. I bought DVDs of both movies in the bargain bin of my local Wal-Mart shortly after moving into my current apartment, and I absolutely love them both.

Flushed Away is good. Over The Hedge has always been on the mediocre side to me
@RoninCatholic27 күн бұрын
@@dtxspeaks268 Being mediocre put if LEAGUES ahead of what I was expecting going in. It was a decent, inoffensive, well-crafted movie for small children, all of its worst gross out jokes having been actually used in the trailer itself and made me hesitate to give it a chance in the first place.
@dtxspeaks26827 күн бұрын
@RoninCatholic ehh, I still think OTH is serviceable at best. It's just one of many of Dreamworks' mediocre 3D movies from the 2000s (outside of Shrek 1&2, KFP and Flushed Away).

Looking up it’s rating on letterboxed, I found out it was rated 2.9 stars out of 5! Like, I know the movie isn’t top teir or anything, but I actually watched flushed away somewhat recently and I thought it was fun. A 3 or 3.3 out of 5 stars I could understand, but a 2.9 definitely felt harsh for a movie like this. Glad it’s getting some love on this Handel at least. Also, me and my sisters thought the slug songs were the peak of humour. I remember us quoting that one song with the maggots all the time.

This was a point that DreamWorks made a new low with a critical reception very weak and bombing us at the box office this film broke the relationship with the British stop motion animation studio aardman Then what it's worth not even their famous Green ogre recover them with Shrek the third followed by a bizarre film bee movie it wouldn't be until the release of Kung Fu Panda when they recover
