Would cream blush work on oily skin? I've been told that oily skinned people should stay away from cream blush.

It's really hard for me to do it because I have red undertone and it comes through on my cheeks but no where else and it's blotchy. And I feel like when I put on the blush because I have sensitive skin it just irritates my cheeks so i lose either way. what blush could I do this look with that wouldn't irritate my sensitive cheeks
