My wife is a avid sheller . A couple of years ago we went to a particular beach after drudging to replace some of the beach. We luckily found about 30+ fossils they call Sea biscuits. I looked them up and they said they were 30+ million years old. We went back a couple days later and for the most part they were all gone. That was at Holden Beach in NC. From what I hear they still show up occasionally.
