Flushing The Fuel And Oil Tank Of A Husqvarna Chainsaw.

ONCE A MONTH. Fuel and oil tank flushing.The purpose of flushing the tanks is to clean only loose debris (chips). NOTE! Also notice what a dirty fuel filter looks like compared to a new one. Fuel filter should always be clean and "BRIGHT" white.

What tubes are you talking about? The normal action is to buy a new hoses and replace it.

@@AutoTuneTM The pipe that goes from the carburetor to the petrol tank, I used a poor amount of oil to make the 2-stroke mixture and I would like to clean the pipes from oil residues in the mixture, and I was wondering how to do it, if it is convenient with a syringe, detaching the pipe from the carburetor and pushing diesel fuel up to the tank

Can u explain what you are putting in the oil container to clean it (gas as well)?? And Is the same bar & oil that is used to mix in part with the gas, what you fill the oil up with?

Bar&chain oil is for lubricating the saw when it is in the wood. 2-stroke oil is for mixing with gasoline. He uses gasoline to wash the oil reservoir because it will dissolve petroleum sludge and gunk. Gasoline also evaporates quickly.

The oil filter does not need such frequent maintenance. The oil filter can be accessed by removing the clutch assembly.I don't know which chainsaw model you have, let's say it's some autotune product, mostly this system is similar to all professional chainsaw models. It will not be possible to remove the oil filter through the oil cap hole, it must be done from the clutch side. If there is no problem with the oil supply, just empty out the oil tank, put some of fluid in it ( fuel) and rinse it out.

Great video thanks. I would like to know what you were using in the oil tank to help clean it tho.... i found a chainsaw in a river bank and am trying to bring it back to life. The chain oil has definitely been contaminated with water. Haha we shall see how it goes....

All visual debris from both tanks is flushed with gasoline. It is advisable to remove the filters and block the hoses before rinsing.
