flushing with no aspirator in the syphonic AS.

Our toilet does exactly as seen.I took the cistern apart but could not find anything wrong.Have had difficulty to find another aspirator to fit properly.

I really like and remember using this type of siphonic toilet in the 1970's. The very first time I saw one I thought the toilet was faulty and was going to flood the place.

Hi sparkyfireworks! Can you please tell me how a aspirator works? is there a some kind of hole where the aspirator goes below the hole on witch the tank sits? I am really curious how it works :)

cool, you should block the hole and try it to see what happens, never know you might just get a slight syphonic action??

Yeah i'll have to try that sometime. See what happens it would try and syphon out.

did u plug the hole where the aspirator sits inside or did the water from the cistern flow into it and into the part between the 2 traps?

No I left it open so water would go through that and into the bowl.
