Thank you. Interesting point; around 1800, when nailing a door together, square nails were used. When completed, the nails were Peened or Clinched, setting it permanently in the door so they would not move. Rendering the nail useless or "Dead as a doornail".

I hadnt heard that before, sure makes sense!!

Howdy Brother- that HM126 be a little bit addictive lol. That’s the same mill l have and it’s amazing what you can do with it. Those doors look perfect on your shop. Lots of people get the brace on wrong but you know how to do it right. They ought not ever sag. I know you didn’t video this yesterday cause I been looking at the pictures y’all posted. We are still locked in cause we can’t get out yet. Hopefully the snow will start melting today. Take care and stay warm out there. God’s blessings to y’all

Enjoyed the video Jared. That was an easy way to construct doors and it worked perfectly and they look great. I know you have air nailers but it was nice seeing you build the way we had to do it. I saw you had a vapor barrier down and your wood stove installed. I must have missed a video. You be safe and God bless.

Yes I like air nailers but I enjoy using a hammer!
