I'd always be worried if it leaked buying second hand especially, but it seems you got a good margin there…nice one!

I love how fastidiously tidy you are throughout the vid; there were moments when I actually doubted your G6 was pre owned.

Hi This failed months ago and was binned. I'm afraid I can't recommend these either new or used.

Thats a real shame, G6 filter didnt hold up to ur expectation. Thought that even after all the neg points, that wouldn't affect the functioning of the filter. Worst part was u spent extra 40 on the extra parts. Hehehe.. it was funny;but also understandable seeing u wiping dwn the filter-it did cost 150(200with parts). U take care of your things doesnt matter if new or old! Started to look lik OCD hehehe

I have a G3 and it is the best filter I have purchased. I have been running mine now for over 5 years and no issues at all. I hear about a few of them failing and that will happen to any filter one buys, luck of the draw. Buying a used one your chances go up that it will fail, because you don't know why it is being sold. One must be careful when purchasing second hand equipment. I would have parted it out and used the money to buy a new one or other filter of your choice.

I'm guessing that 100 Pounds is about $150 - $170 American.... Excellent buy. Aesthetically they may be the best looking aquarium filters on the market However, they are gimmicky. Moreover, the media is expensive and from what I have read the electronic telemetry becomes problematic over time. The same thing is true of the fancier Eheim canisters. If you were spending the nearly $400 that the G6 goes for new I'd say buy another filter. However, for what you paid, provided that the filter is in good shape, you got a very good deal... Best of luck with it...
