Love ❤️ the tip about drive roller pressure using a wood board to insulate and determine if your wire pressure is correct. I’m new to welding and I’m going to use the technique on my LE MP210. I’ve had a heck of a time getting it set up to practice beads. Thanks Miller. Maybe I buy this one too

So if I buy dual sheild Flux core the Miller 220 won’t work ? It won’t read it ? Or could I use dual shield

The Multimatic 220 is capable of running solid wires, self-shielded flux cored wires and gas shielded flux cored wires. You need to ensure the machine has enough voltage and amperage available to handle the particular wire you intend to use.

Yo ya compre la máquina. Pero surge un problema. Después de soldar con spoolmate 100 aluminio se quedó el dibujo de la pistola en la pantalla por más que cambie a flaco cored o a mig la pantalla se queda con el dibujo de spoolmate. Trate de borrar el icono de la pantalla pero no se puede.

Dav2Kink yes it does I have a miller multimatic 200 and what you do is buy the dual shield flux core and 100% co2 and you have to set it on custom settings and polarity of what wire you have but it will do it

Thank you for the question Jamie. The Multimatic 220 AC/DC welder is designed with Auto-Set parameters for the mostly commonly used gas types. You can always set your own parameters using manual mode. Thank you.
